  • After a long break in making Louisiana / Cajun French video's we're back with a video the fine folks at Rod's Supermarket in Church Point, La where they were kind enough to let us use their produce section to record this video.
Phoebe Trotter and Herman Miller are our presenters and their participation is greatly appreciated.
I normally put audio to some type of presentation and this is my first attempt at using recorded video. The very first part has back ground music from the store but they were kind enough to lower it upon our request so the rest of the video is much clearer.
I'll be investing in a microphone for future recordings.

Very good video. I'm glad the background music was turned off. It's obvious that Herman grew up speaking French and he is still good at it. The Madame knows Cajun French but it seems she is more comfortable with English. Both did a fine job and it was very entertaining. I'm looking forward to the next video. Merci beaucoup mes amies.

She grew up speaking French and English. Masters Degree in French. Spent 2 years in France. - She's a retired French School Teacher whom they pulled out of retirement to teach again. - She's just very good at speaking to an audience. :D
We're looking forward to doing more video's like this.
In the early years I worked out of town and it was much harder for me to actually meet up with people to record. Now I have more availability and better equipment. The quality should get better as time goes on and I get more of the little things that make videoing and editing easier.

It came out good once they turned the music down. And YES, their smoke sausage is the best.
