Your conment is valid, Kentucky raised John Goldsby just happens to one of my jazz double fiddle playing favorites. What we both know is that he's not demonstrating here is that he can probably pull off the strings of 'Rhythm changes,' about 40, or 50 different ways or more. Ray Brown is another high flying favorite of mine. One of my teachers early on tried to get me to understand ' Rhythm changes,' in early on lessons where it really took me a minute to graspt the concept, I later on discovered it can be found in many turnarounds & play alongs.
Now that's a good plucked bass sound! Great player.
