I disagree players on Kansas City are used to the cold unlike Miami. Buffalo doesn’t normally have high wind speeds so it’s not an advantage like kc.

@@tomzd99 cold weather isn't an advantage, it's only a disadvantage. It becomes an advantage when it impacts one team or another while not effecting the other to the same degree or at all. when you're not used to the cold weather it has a higher chance of effecting you. avg January temp for kc is between 21 and 39 mean its 63 to 74 for Miami and that is a HUGE difference.

Yea you definitely wrong there. Its like one guy drives in the snow for 4 months a year and another only 4 days a year and then you have them race in the snow. One definitely has an advantage due to more experience in that weather.
Don't sleep on Pittsburgh, I'm concerned about this game.
They had a hard time with ravens backups. Buffalo knows what's a stake this is the easiest road they've had. Might not cover the spread but they're winning.
They are literally the worst offense in the playoffs and they won't have their DPoY level pass rusher available... It's not gonna be close.

Me as bills fan, Nick is missing a very important point, when he brings up that 14-10 loss to patriots is that this bills team can actually run the ball, meaning if they have to run the ball more because of bad weather conditions they're capable
And run the ball with Allen early to keep defenses always wondering, slows everyone’s reaction speed a half step and opens more lanes for Cook. I hate it when they wait til they’re in trouble to start using him.

@@Steve-fh3yn yeah I'm not suggesting running Allen, especially not too many designed runs, he's most dangerous when he leaves the pocket on pass plays, but I feel like we're better at stopping the run, verses stopping the pass

The last 3 games have been ugly games. So that doesn't worry me. The part that worries me is that Nick is picking them to win and we all know his track record about picking teams to win. They usually end up losing.

The last time Buffalo played Pittsburgh without TJ it was a slaughter before halftime. Now the weather will play a factor but I don’t think it will be that significant.
Last time Buffalo played Pittsburgh the bills were the better team by far and the Steelers had Matt Canada and a rookie qb. And how about something more recent? The last time Buffalo was huge favorites at home in a blizzard, Cincinnati came in and dog wakes them. Pittsburgh is the more physical team

When the team is mediocre an elite edge rusher can have an outsized impact on team success. Less of an impact if the offense is putting up 30+ a game. An elite offense can still win shootouts.

Those stats all come from last year, and last year that position on their depth chart was one of the weakest positions of depth in the entire NFL. It truly is a different story this year.

He also loves to confuse QB stats with the entire team's success. Matt Stafford has better recent stats than Jared Goff, therefore the Rams defense, special steams, skill positions, O-line, coaching staff, etc. all must be better than the Lions too 😂

20 years ago Rich Gannon went into a super bowl with the raiders and the dude who was his coach for many years who taught the offense was on the other side of the field with the Bucs. How did that work out? Sean McVay lives rent-free in Jared Goff's head.
If there was a team and coach that could expose Goff more than anyone it's McVay. I expect Goff to look really bad. The Rams defense is going bring everything he didn't like when he was a Ram that he hasn't proven he's overcome.
Or the Lions just run the ball all over the Rams and Goff never ends up having to prove anything bc the Rams can’t stop the run, that is also a possibility

@@peterrrrrr954You do realize the Lions are top 5 in Rushing AND Passing. The Lions excel at both. The OLine is healthy and wants to keep Goff clean. Look for Detroit to dominate in the trenches and win.
Goff is obviously a different QB then what he was with the Rams he has improved by leaps and bounds

Allen did play well that game, but the Bills offense still struggles a lot in high wind/bad weather situations.
And that's fine, a lot of other teams would too. The problem is the Bills are a pass-heavy team. People seem to think that's changed under Brady, but outside of the Cowboys game it hasn't. If you remove that one game, Allen averages 35 pass attempts per game, while he averaged 34 attempts under Dorsey.
Also outside of the Cowboys game, Cook has looked pedestrian in the run game. He averaged 15 attempts & 3.4 ypc in 5 of the other 6 games we played.
Bad weather helps keep inferior teams in the game, increases the likelihood of turnovers, limits FGs, and hurts pass-heavy teams the most. The Steelers will be more than happy to stack the box, send constant pressure, and force Josh to throw into windy/wet coverage. Meanwhile, they'll take slowly chipping away with 2-3 yard runs & playing the field position game, waiting for turnovers & short fields to put up points.

@JaredBruski Stafford as a whole played better than his stats would indicate. Matt made the Pro Bowl; Jared did not. I know the Pro Bowl isn't the All Pro Team but... Rams would not have won the Super Bowl with Goff, and that's why he was shipped to Detroit.
