I heard Tiesto uses ghost producers. He's a very talented DJ nonetheless and has a good ear for music when it comes to what he releases under his name or brand and what artist he signs to his label.
A ton of superstars use ghost producers. Some use them more, some less and there’s nothing wrong with that in my opinion, at the end of the day the idea is usually theirs and they decide what to put out and what not. But imagine how little studio time they have with all the tours and shows, its crazy
@@riftsounds I remember watching this documentary on Netflix. I think it was with Tommy Sunshine. This one episode shows us DJ Chuckie's creative process. He has input on the song but he has a whole team who helps him bring the ideas to life. Armin has a similar process I think. Nothing wrong agreed as long as the artist has some involvement.
Been trying to work on keeping things interesting like you said. The stuff I’ve put out just doesn’t change a lot at all and I think it’s from my DJ mindset where I’m just thinking about the drop being mixed in and out. Not the song itself. Love learning from you
Yo man, can you do a bit of explaining how to play with bass / lead melodies in a drop together? Dunno what it is, but there's something that makes it so clean sounding but yet gritty in a lot of cases that I just can't replicate well. I guess it's something about sound selection and having both fit well, but mine usually end up too complex / just out of place, or just too simple if I strip away some clashing elements. Appreciate what you're doing for the community regardless man! Keep grinding homie. - Valde
