Also, as a tip for anyone with mega OCD - If your accuracy being shite drives you nuts, take a car down to the beach, or somewhere that won’t attract police attention, shoot it with a minigun, and keep shooting it after it explodes. The blown-up car still gives positive accuracy. I think I remember mine at around 5000%.

Tommy is blessed with immortal life to the natural forces such as gravity, but every immortal being should have atleast one weakness so water and bullets happened to be them.
I guess it's because the kevlar helps absorb the impact as a cushion. But kevlar can only handle so much abuse like that before you find it's not good enough to stop rounds.
@@Agent1W irl it won't do anything when you fall. When you crash into the ground, your body kinda splatters itself, the bones take a lot of the impact as they're holding you together. The kevlar itself technically hits you like a truck. In the game it's coded so that armour is literally just more hp on top of your main hp.
I think the itchy sack might be for a "different" reason... I mean it is GTA...might wanna be careful picking up all those chicks off the street... if you catch my drift. **wink wink, nudge nudge**

Since everyone here is remembering the insta-death on water thing, I wonder if that's going to be changed on the Remastered version soon-to-be-released. I remember seeing some absolutely beautiful vegetation and sea life on Vice City back then, but it was just for show since you couldn't really interact with it. It'd be nice to be able to swim and be eaten by a shark now on the re-release lol.
Most likely it won't be a thing. The underwater landskape is next to non-existent in some areas. Besides, there's no fucking way to get out of the water in most places since most of the near-water areas are high walls or such. Rockstar won't even remake faces properly, let alone such things.

For those who don't actually get it, the videoclip for "Owner of a Lonely Heart" features a guy jumping of a building. That's the thing, not the water, nor the lack of parachute or even the fact that he survived.
Back when falling down from a great height only took a little bit of your health but doesn't outright kill you unless it was super-low to begin with. Tommy must've been practicing with Link from Ocarina of Time. Too bad he didn't take any swimming lessons with him though.
@@Norbert011 Yeah, in the HD Universe games (besides Chinatown Wars), the height you can survive falls from often depends on how you land. If it's on your head, you can bet that you're wasted. If it's somewhere else, you've got a better chance of survival.
