I wonder if Scarlatti had been as influential as Beethoven what the history of music would have been like. I think romanticism would have come 50 years early. This sonata is so empfindsamkeit.

It’s not a piano, it’s a harpsichord. It plucks strings, whilst the piano hits them. It’s the piano’s great grandfather.

it is actually well tuned. Just an interesting temperament
