1987/88 EVERYONE knew about Erasure, every disco, party and shindig Erasure was played. They were a pop group with the cutting edge electronic sounds that were becoming more popular, leading to the dance music explosion. It was a wonderful time and these remixes are fantastic and a tribute to the original music.

A sublime remix. It highlights all the bits that I really like about this - basically very repetetive - tune. Better than the album version and any other remix I have heard.
I have been a huge fan of Erasure every since start in 1985. Victim of love was one of my favorite tracks in 1987 when it was released. In 2021 I still enjoy listing to it and most of the old tracks. But when I listen to remixes like yours, Mark, the pleasure become even bigger.. Thank you so much!!
thank you too Kim :-) I was a bit of a late comer to the erasure scene, around the Innocents time. I was around 16 or 17 years of age and working as a chef for a restaurant. The manageress had a party one night, she had the Innocents tape playing and I was hooked!

Thank you Steven :-) Not sure which chord you mean? you mean the first rhythm bit or the slide effect chord? The rhythm is just that, with a delay then overlaid with a guitar, that's how I did it anyway, as for the slide chord or riser part you can use a simple pitch bend or in my case I used onmisphere and used the mod envelope to effect the pitch over time :-)
@@lottec.717 I had almost all albums, singles, maxi-singles etc from Erasure (and Depeche Mode) back in the 80´s. I gave up all of them for CD´s.. Very bad and stupid idea :-( Fortunatly I enjoy new remixes and redo´s like Mark is doing, and sometimes I do my some remixes myself.. But it´ll never be the same as in the "good old days". Whats even worse, I prefere all the old tracks/albums rather than Erasure´s lates albums.
