Stay. Shawn Johnson, Nastia Liukin, Alicia Sacramone, Chellsie Memmel, Bridget Sloan

These five women were five of the six members of team USA in the 2008 Olympics. I started watching gymnastics in 2006 so these five were the big gymnasts at the time (Nastia, Chellsie, and Alicia were seniors in the first ever Nationals I watched, Shawn and Bridget were juniors). It is so bittersweet that they are no longer gymnasts. I've been obsessed with gymnastics for 7 years now and I can't imagine gymnastics without these girls. They all tried to make a comeback in 2011 and 2012 which I was so grateful for because that meant I got to watch them compete again. I hate that they are no longer competing and I wished they would have stayed (hence the song). I cry my eyes out watching this montage because I just have such a connection to them. I really can't imagine gymnastics without them lol. I wish them the best of luck in everything they do. Thank you for giving us your all, I'm sure I can speak for everyone when I say these girls will be greatly missed. We love you.
