An amazing man with an amazing life story. I first heard of him in 1975 when he gave an interview on Radio One. I was very surprised to learn that he was a performer who also sang and wrote songs. The artists he brought before the public speak volumes about not just their own talent, but the talent of this man. He has never had the credit or recognition that he so richly deserves. This is why I love seeing projects like this. I wish there was much more material about him out there😊👍

A remembrance of Gordon Mills. It just skims the surface but he was an amazing personality. Doesn't really demonstrate how massive his business enterprise was that he had built by the 70's before some of his artists broke away and as usual for these brief synopsis, dates and events are a little off, but a warm remembrance. Interesting man.

It’s a tragedy how addiction drags people down. I noticed that he was smoking in nearly every shot. Once you get one addiction it is easier to acquire others so then the gambling got him as well. And down he went, even though he had worked so hard and successfully to build an empire.

It’s very clear that there would be no Tom Jones without Gordon! Gilbert & Engelbert should feel the same way regarding their careers!

The print at the beginning says he was the most powerful man in British music. What about Mickey Most? This is more of Tom Jones than Mills. I heard Gilbert O Sullivan on the BBC today, so thought I would look at Mills, his manager, but this is all Jones. No mention of O Sullivan at all. I know they fell out, but it is part of Mills' life story, and he was a massive star in the seventies, so it should have been mentioned.

He would have been nothing without Johnny Kidd.
