Kurt is one of the best analysts and shares perspectives and thoughts that you will only know as an elite QB. Unlike Chris Sims that have stupid opinions base on his level of understanding (low) Kurt is real, straightforward and honest. As he said, Tua’s skills set compliments this system not every QB can do that because there is high level processing needed not just skill.
Hey, as long as you meet the quotas, who cares if you had to ask someone why the whole system was gone and what the hell you were supposed to use to keep track of everything now. 🤣🤣
Great getting Kurt on and someone who tries to be truly unbiased while still appreciating every type of QB. It gets lost a lot but when Kurt talks about Tua it's not just rosy colored glasses, he also points our areas of improvement. He calls Tua a good QB but not the top greats, which is honest and fine. He's what we have and he does well at what he's good at. He'll never be agile like Lamar or run people over like Allen, but he was the passing yard leader because the skills he has. Great segment!
Tremendous Q & A. Really appreciate the in depth and straightforward answers from Kurt, and his explanation of anticipation being a different way to extend plays was very cool, and clearly Kurt enjoyed answering the questions the way he was smiling so big congrats to Kyle.
great work Kyle really. you are a necessary in the fanbase ;too many fans of football but not students of football. great job trying to educate this fanbase. 🙏
Wow! Much respect to you that Kurt W gave you that interview, it speaks volumes. Thank you so much Kurt Warner for giving all of us the privilege and honor of your time. I value your opinion very much. Awesome video!!
And somehow people are still saying they need to see more from Tua which really shows their credibility and knowledge of the game. They tend to ignore the plain facts that, aside from what Kurt said, are as follows : 1. Prior to McD, Tua didn't have a HC that believed in him and a decent OC that can develop him. 2. After McD's arrival, Tua has continued to develop to a level he is now which was a Pro Bowl QB. 3. Aside from weapons, Tua never had a decent OL. Brady demanded at least this, and handpicked his RT and eventual LT replacement. 4. Even with this, Tua had a phenomenal year last year prior to the OL injuries. The whole team was heavily injured coming into the playoffs which would impact people's determining factor that wants Tua to win a playoff game. Compare that to what CJ Stroud and Jordan Love had in the playoffs. Yet, somehow both they are "ranked" higher than Tua. Coming back to point 1 and 2, having decent OCs can make or break any QB, not just young developing QBs. Just ask Zach Wilson and Mac Jones on how they did. Mac knows just how well Co-OCs work. Compare Tua under Flores and his OCs (which changed every year) with Tua under McD with Frank Smith.
To add to this, it isn't like he was bad in his first 2 years. Let's add some context to those. Before McDaniel/Tyreek came to Miami Tuas career passer rating was 91. Honestly not too bad for a rookie or 2nd year. Especially not bad considering the 32nd ranked OL he had, the weapons he lacked (except Waddle for 1 year), a HC who never wanted him, was actively sabotaging his progress, and trying to replace him.
I agree with your points but my main concern is that Tua is probably more dependent on McD to become an elite QB than specific skill players. Giving Tua a long term deal without renewing McDs deal too is very risky.
One of the best interviews I have heard regarding different types of quarterback play and why Tua’s skill set is the right fit for Miami. McDaniel has added some pieces that will make the offense even harder to prepare for. They now have more versatility and size at the receiver position with the addition of the new tight end. Great job
Really good insights. Kurt has definitely made some very good breakdown videos on Tua's play. J.T. O'Sullivan falls into that category as well and he has always been a Tua supporter. Would be another great guest to get as well.
How did this debunk TD??? If anything TD is 100 💯 correct. Tua is a product of Tyreek and waddle. Anyone can do it. U guys can't be serious. Did u even listen
The motion in the dolphins system is a blessing and a handicap. When they are at home at the timing on the offensive timing is perfect pre snap they are hard to stop. NOW ... on the road with noise or cold they struggled running that motion ...
Love Kurt, what a great man to listen to about the game. BTW, Tua has a better QB pass rating when Tereek is on the sideline. Fact. Love Tereek, he's the best but Tua is just fine working it with others out there.
One thing I forgot to ask is: can you expand on Kurt Wagners distinction between scheme and play design in expanding the passing game and opening up guys. Maybe give an example?
Re: Kurts "forcing" talk. Ill admit it was a bit of a problem last year. Prior to that, Tua regularly got to his 3rd read. There was far too much effort in the Tyreek2k agenda. It needs to be abandoned.
Love Warner… but the discussion was a bit Warner-centric. Not blaming Kyle. The question wasn’t answered… “would you pay Tua under the present circumstances. He did say the decision should be based on the present, not the future. That’s tricky, should McD have coaching issues that cost the City a a game.. or worse.
If Tua did not have the worst pass blocking O-line and had more time in the pocket like everyone else has, he would easily throw for 6000 yards and 60 TDs with the talent at WR/TE/RB and his skill set.
I don't think any other QB can run this system as well as Tua can. Maybe Nick Foles could do it, but for any other quarterback you'd have to change or adjust the offense to make it not as fast.
Stop blaming the o-line for his failures. He's not elite. That's what it's gonna take to win big in the league. Tua will never be elite and he will never win big!!
I think Miami needs an outside consultant that knows how NFL games are played so this person can make suggestions that McDaniel can look at and consider, this might be an option that the dolphins never consider
That hosted this crabs guy you know he talked too long at the introduction so I didn't listen to Kurt but I already know Kurt Warner's got his s*** totally together no need to listen to him because he brings correctness to the table every time he is no joke one of the better players to throw a football in the 56 years I've been watching pro football
And you know when it comes to quarterback play It's All About the system that's in place and the coaching that's their plus it's all about chemistry with their coach and their offensive line and you know chemistry is the reason Tom Brady was so good
Enjoy Mr Krabbs while we have him, this cat ain’t gonna be around for long.. Krabbs you belong in a scouting dept working your way up the ladder, no joke brother..
Has Chris Grier made the offer to Tua, like he did to Christian Wilkins before the start of last season for a new contract/ extension and like Christian, Tagovailoa doesn't like it? Therefore the new contract/extension for Tua lays on the table? Take it or leave it! Play out the 5th option. Does Tua capitulate?
I knew this kid growing up...,? Lies is the bullshit your talking...lol common this kid won at pop Warner highschool and college. His freshmen year remember Alabama?.. and he will win in this league.
Never consider yourself a finished product. At the top of your game. Then you become complacent. Always push yourself to learn more and to play better.
After listening to Kurt warner imput I think it would be a good idea for Mike McDaniel to meet and discuss with Kurt his thoughts on how Miami can implement a 2nd & 3 rd option because good teams know how to stop Miami’s offense, especially, if all Miami has is the first option
It's somewhat unfair to the scheme. They may not have a lot of good progressions post snap, but a lot the "if this then that" progression happens pre snap with all the motion. And Miami does that at full play speed. The first read when they line up is not necessarily the first read the post snap. It does show up as a weakness in two minute situations when they don't have time to do the presnap stuff though. I think (hope) Tua losing weight is part of a larger plan to add some post snap wrinkles to offense.
Curt Warner is an accurate thrower. I know his comments are good. But always throwing to certain areas on the field doesn't always work. Waiting for the open receiver is better at times. Running the ball mixing it up. Tua has gotten predictable.
I respect Kurt but I disagree on some of what he is saying. Tua can create and extend and has movement. Tua does not have the OL to take more than 2 seconds to throw the ball and McDaniel only schemes 2 reads on most plays due to the OL. The Dolphins as a team ran out of gas as more and more players went down with injuries. No one can operate at a high level using the bottom half of your OL roster as starters.
Play Tua's 5 year option instead. Let him prove he is the QB that can bring this team to a Playoff win. His 5th year does come with good money 30 million this year.
In other words, if the wife is unhappy you can pick some flowers right away n give them to her or you can drive to in and out and eat a burger, go to the bar, sit on the beach then go home and give her flowers.
Props to getting Kurt on the show.

Beautiful explanation by Kurt Wagner. He breaks down the QB position and how you’re supposed to play it beautifully.
I am definitely not paying attention to a work meeting and watching this instead
Hey, as long as you meet the quotas, who cares if you had to ask someone why the whole system was gone and what the hell you were supposed to use to keep track of everything now. 🤣🤣

No lies told. Straight FACTS! Everybody overlooks all that because it’s TUA.
Well said!
Very true

I love that he takes the "what if" out of it and brings it back to "what is". Smart! It's like a zen approach.
Nice job Kyle. Concise and organized
Excellent Q&A! Love how you got Kurt to elaborate on his perception of anticipation (from front to back end).🔥💯
Cheers to having a fantastic guest w/ brilliant insight.....Thanks Kyle .......& thank you Kurt
Excellent job, Kyle Crabbs. Good questions and steering of the interview.
No way Crabbs got Kurt on the show, that’s crazy!
I have been listening to Kyle for a while now and he's always on point with his communication. Great Job!
Outstanding job Kyle! Thank you sir 🫡🇺🇸💪🙏
Awesome episode Kyle. So cool to see you get your dues with a top notch guest.
Nicely done almost as good as victory Mondays!

Thank you for this fair assessment from a pro. So sick of ignorant media
Let’s goooooo 🐬🐬 let’s sign Tua …. Let’s go on a super bowl run !!!!!!!!!!!💪💪

Excellent episode with excellent QB info from Hall of Famer Kurt Warner. This was a great show Kyle, well done.
DEBUNKING TDFoolishTalk I see. Great stuff once again by the great Kyle Crabbs and the legendary Kurt Warner 👏 ❤ 🐬
How did this debunk TD??? If anything TD is 100 💯 correct. Tua is a product of Tyreek and waddle. Anyone can do it. U guys can't be serious. Did u even listen
I could listen to Kurt Warner all day. Great questions Kyle.
Agree...1000% Foolish talk
TD vs. Hall of Famer

Great job Kyle!
One thing Tua does very good is his ability to learn and grow. Some QB's are the same in their 10th year as they were in the first. Tua progresses
You're living lala land. If he's growing. Why can't he win in the cold? 😂😂😂 why can't he beat Josh Allen? 🤣🤣🤣
Great Interview!
As per usual with Kyle, brilliant stuff.
Amazing interview! Thanks!!!
Great show Kyle! Love the content. Keep it going uce!
Just Facts! Great show! Fins up!
Love Kurt, what a great man to listen to about the game. BTW, Tua has a better QB pass rating when Tereek is on the sideline. Fact. Love Tereek, he's the best but Tua is just fine working it with others out there.
Excellent quarterback scenes and strategies
Awesome episode. Congrats!!!
Great job Kyle! Awesome interview
Kurt is the MAN!
loved the adapt to your player portion.. tyreek wont be here forever.. and you see tua finding plays with all sorts of wrs.. the future is bright
Fantastic stuff!
Kurt one of the few former playes who's honest. Others go along with the likes. Props
Thanks, good show Kyle!
Still doesn't change the fact that he sucks in cold weather and fails to get it done when it really matters
Great episode!!
Great stuff!
Nicely done
Great job Kyle you nailed it!!
Great interview Kyle!

My concern is the hot read...We have Achane, Wright, and Smith..We have multiple pitches..
I laughed at the same time Kurt did when he said “when there allowed to do what they want they are tough to stop “ yes they are baby
Nice bag Kyle, well deserved.
Nice job Kyle.
This is going to be good 🤙🏼❤️🐬🫡
Very analytical indeed
Kurt nail it on Tua if he can fixed those flaw in his game miami got a real chance extend play
well done Kyle
Kyle you are a pod god
