here in my farm (in Turkey) dorcus titanus feeds itself with roots of hazelnut tree and makes the tree die soon.. why should I help him to survive? and what is worst, i'll feel guilty whenever i kill one of them after watching this video.

They might be pets. I found this: "Did You Know: They are common pets in South Korea and Japan, alongside rhinoceros beetles." Info from beetle identifications site.

@@jardindedom-mage après réflexion, ce pourrait être pour enrichir la végétation de leur jardin. en tant que larves, le stag beatle mange du bois pourri le transformant ainsi en compost riche en nutriments et en tant qu'adultes, ils mangent de la sève et des fruits pourris.

They eat wood when it’s already died, I think they are not the cause of the death of the tree
