Excellent explanation. I have a gig tonight and our sound guy is always complaining that solos don’t punch out the way they should. The other guitar player and I both use fairly high gain amps - he uses a Kemper and I have the Headrush. I think this will help a lot. I’m going to experiment a bit with these tips at sound check and see if they will make a difference. Thanks!
Undetstood and absolutly know how to pull up the GE but im talking about those boxes on far right where you can adjust levels like high, low, mids, etc. on my mx5 i have to double tap the eq or any pedal for that matter to go into another screen to make adjustments
This may not be completely relevant, just need some help. For my clean channel, I have amp off for ultra-clean. But when I go to my dirty channel I would like it to be slightly louder. Not really looking for a boost, just want to turn this volume up without adding volume to clean sound. I have tried many things and have not been successful, please enlighten me.
You can get an ultra clean tone while still using an amp. I suggest the Black Duo which is the Fender Twin. It will give you more tonal possibilities. Are you switching to another rig to get to your dirty channel?
Interesting... you go between the amp and the cab.. that’s something I didn’t do on the Helix. It seemed like everyone on Helix went after the amp and cab and it went great. I guess it makes sense. Maybe that’s why my efforts with EQ have gone to hell.
I keep my cab/IR last in the chain so when I use the Alt Output method the cab is bypassed going to the amp but the FOH still gets the full rig. This option is only available on the pedalboard though so for those with a Gigboard it doesn't really matter if you have fx before or after the cab.

Cool let me know how it goes.

Yes those boxes are only on the Pedalboard and Prime but not on the MX5, Gigboard or Core.
How do you get those boxes on right where you make adjustments? I don’t get them on my MX5
They are only on the Pedalboard
Understood but what model? So not on the MX5? Is the headrush pedalboard a particular model?
@@NINERS8able the Graphic EQ is on all the Headrush products and its called "Graphic EQ".
Do you have a video on rig balancing? If no, can you do one; if yes, can you post a link? Thx.
Mike Austin this video goes over the concept that can be applied to all rigs.
is the 6band eq the only one available? or does it have more bands? besides the para eq's
the Graphic is the only option right now.

Do we hear the headrush frfr?
Uli Mörs it’s direct out of the Headrush into a Zoom Q8 recorder.
