It's so ironic. The amount of entrepreneurs that are trying to hack attention and watch time with crazy animations and sound effects. The funny thing is I immediately click off a video when I see that. Then there's this video. 43 minutes, handheld, minimal cuts, minimal music and sound effects. Yet here I am, 12 minutes in.
They are not trying but succeeding. This video was made with watchtime and clicks in mind as well and it clearly worked on you. That is why the video doesnt start with handheld walking shot.
Same for me! Last week I watched a 43m long video of a former MIT-trained doctor who was just video diary’ing, if you will, out in the mountains. No cuts, fancy edits or “hey look at me!” type of stuff. It felt like forest bathing from my sofa while also growing as a person through this guy’s story
@@kaitiezhee I saw the same one. The guy that quit being a neuroscientist and moved to the mountains. Great example. I think what people are craving is real human connection and that's what that video represented.

That Notion wiki is aspirational. Hat tip to whoever deployed over 100 different category icons. 3. Energy Vampire Test is on point. Worth the 43 minutes right there. Nice work.

Its been 2 years where im home without work living with my parents at 31 years old but since 1 month ago I started my business online and am gonna do everything to make it work! ( I hate working with people in a 9 to 5 espacially for people like me with not much social skills )

The "relying on the same old skills" part hit me deep man. Growth is usually challenging and ultimately if you want to break through barriers, you're going to have to learn some new skills. I haven't really heard it framed around skillset like that. Nice one.

Another epic video. I’ve been playing with Notion for awhile and it’s great for organizing. I’ve been in business for ages so most of these points I’m doing. I will work on setting up longer to do lists at night. I typically keep it to 3 but maybe with that, I’m not challenging myself enough.
