- This is a tribute to my favorite actress, the beautiful Vivien Leigh. Those of you who are fans will understand the feelings that I have for her and what she means in my life. I hope you enjoy this tribute!

Her face was so beautiful!
I have never seen a woman who's beauty alone could bring tears to my eyes. Devastatingly gorgeous. I am filled with raging jealousy and admiration for those knew her, loved her and cared for her regardless of her deep troubles. She is immortal and rightfully so. A gifted actress with a fiery, headstrong spirit and definitely a heart breaker. A larger than life icon inside of a tiny frame. If I had ever encountered her in life I don't know that I would be able to move or even breathe. Her impact on modern culture shows to this day, seeing as how Vivien passed away 12yrs before I was even born. I am obviously not the only in my generation that admires her and I will help pass on her legacy as well as the other greats of the past to my kids and younger generations. Love the video :)

People who knew her said her coloring with the peach colored skin and green/blue eyes and dark hair was heart-stopping!

Saw her twice. First in Fallen Angel and at the London Palladium in Night of a Hundred Stars- a charity event. I am soo lucky as have both her and Laurence Olivier autographs. She had an extraordinary beauty, but obviously the gods were jealous and she had to pay, and so they cursed her with mental health problems.

She was still a stunner when she made "A Streetcar Named Desire". Modern actresses need makeup and prosthetics to look plain and unattractive. Leigh used an old trick to do the same- "acting".

I suppose I was about 12 or 13 when I first saw Vivien Leigh in Waterloo Bridge. Years ago the BBC used to put on at 2pm on Sunday a classic film and that is how I first saw Vivien Leigh curled up on the settee with the rest of the family. I became an instant fan captured by her stunning beauty and talent as an actress.

Yet she didnt see her daughter from 1940 to 1950, The child was born in the early 30s so do the math. She didnt raise her. Unfit mother she was. She hooked up with LO and left her child with her ex.
