- Welcome to Silent Breath! This is a horror game very similar to Don't Scream but it's so much better. The monsters in this one are actually dangerous which means you have to do way more than just be quiet for 20 minutes. Also the graphics are insane. ENJOY!

Mostly because this game has the cheapest asset store grade jumpscares with terribly fitted audio that results in a level of jank that is just laughably bad. It kills all the atmosphere, which kills the jumpscares.
How can you get scared when the whole thing looks like a horror version of Tommy Wiasou's The Room.

I remember watching this on stream and absolutely LOVING your super quiet whispering voice, because it made the whole experience insanely immersive, cozy, and even comforting. I got a bit worried when I read your comment saying you increased the mic volume because I thought it would ruin everything, but I was pleasantly surprised at the result. While the volume is louder, your voice still has that softness I enjoyed listening to so much. Another amazing work, keep it up ❤

Exactly, that’s the problem why this game is getting these negativity, all of these enemies spawning out constantly is killing off the game vibe. The horror environment and intensity gets more dull and everything becomes the same now, like a stale game to the point players aren’t feeling scared playing this anymore, it’s just plain boring now when the players know what’s going to happen because it’s scripted to do the same jump mechanic
@@coffeelink943 It's also simply overwhelming. There was several times in this video where so much was going on, it was bizarrely confusing. Which I don't think is the intended effect by the devs.

Great gameplay! Though I was expecting more of this game from the tiktoks I’ve seen, if the jumpscares weren’t so obnoxious and it had a little bit of a more interesting story, combined with the graphics, it would have a great potential 😊

This game could be really good if it wasn’t a carbon copy of don’t scream. The jump scares are identical, the falling birds, the spiders, how things run at you and the camera goes all static and they disappear. I’ve played a lot of don’t scream and it’s quite sad to see a different game exactly the same as another one

This is the reason I watch your game play. You are not afraid of any thing. Does not scream and bust my ear drums like some other streamers. ❤
I believe the reason why Insym is somewhat confused regarding the location of the significant areas of the game (i.e. - the cemetery, the gas station, etc.) is because the locations of these significant areas do not exist in relation to one another as your typical Euclidean geometry. Although the environment of the gameplay itself appears perfectly normal, and Euclidean in nature, you notice how often while walking through the generic woods section, the screen will black out momentarily, almost as if it were a cut in a film. I believe these are moments when the game basically repositions your character elsewhere on the map as a means to guide you towards the next significant area. One would have to imagine that all of the significant areas of this game are within a certain distance of one another, so then what is going to prevent the player from walking 100 miles in the same direction, and away from all of the significant areas??? All of the gameplay I have seen, I've never noticed anyone find an invisible wall, nor even an environmental barrier that would prevent the player from moving any further in a direction. The creator of the non-Euclidean video has built an engine to achieve a non-Euclidean interaction within a game's environment, and he provides a link to a demo of the engine if you want to experience it yourself. I believe he said it was compatible with VR, which would be the way to experience such a thing!

I jumped few times but being scared and screaming are two different things that those developers do not understand sadly
I believe that the game teleports you to new location on those little blackouts. Otherwise It would be basically impossible to find all those places by chance, and also there is no way the map is this big. So it is probably just bunch of smaller places you teleport between. Looking at later runs, maybe it is just on the edges of playable area that you get teleported and it is just one location. Not sure,, and don't care, games has no idea how to horror.

The moment I heard that stock scream at the start I couldn't take the game seriously. I swear Unreal 5 allows any old game to slap some nice graphics on and trick people into thinking its professional quality.
