I feel you haven't felt the wrath of P money yet. This road rage freestyle is right up your street: ruclips.net/video/nybzitD9pnQ/видео.html there's a part 2 too
A grand dont come for free (2nd album), wouldve been a better starting place for ya. Shouldve done Ghetts albums from the start tho... Good shit tho dude!! And.... its defo GARIGE!!!
Ok, i'm only half way in to this reaction but in simple terms, this is before the "grime" genre era started, Its very British and i can understand someone outside of the UK or who wasn't around at the time not liking this as its different but it did influence the likes of Kano, (one of the best in grime) Kano had Mike, (the lead in the streets) in a few of his videos, i wouldn't really listen to this today but its apart of the history and of course it went on to be lyrically better.
Streets for me were good but cringe at the same time Mike skinner never rapped or flowed he just talks I always found him to boring his bars were ok but I was more for the beats he found or used
Turn the page is the greatest album opener I’ve ever heard icl
This whole album is a story that continues into the second album the streets were definitely ahead of their time
This album is like looking at darwins tree off evolution, most of today's mc's and beats will flow back to this
Shit I missed you were doing this. Same age as Skinner and this album was a game changer, directly described my life at the time. Banger.
Stay positive kept me sane and kept me out of some bad shit when I was about 17. Still gives me goosebumps
Fun fact the streets brought in Kano and was a kinda mentor for him
Mike skinner helped him get signed but Kano was already well know in the grime scene before the streets came about
Let's go the streets
This album is fucking brilliant
A grand don't come for free. You'll love it 👍🏼
Can’t believe you did the streets wow 👍👊

This is grime B4 grime. Spit these bars at 140bpm and you got yourself a grime album.
Dude you need to check N DUBZ - I SWEAR for a track the same time as this

You can't describe it because it is a stand out album it is very British you have to understand the underground rave scene and ecstacy pills 😂😂
