Witch Hunter is one of the most flexible careers and I love it :) Jack of all trades, master of none but when there is a gap in the current scenario, he will fit in perfectly. Need to take care of pesky special, no problem. Need to take care of the horde, sure. Elites? Tag'em and mash'em. And Rapier has been made for this boi without a doubt. Have fun :)
My only trouble is that the rapier feels *so damn good*, that I have trouble wanting to use anything else. Billhook for variety + elite hunting is fun tho.
It sounds crazy, but weapons with horizontal cleave, such as the greatsword, but particularly the flail absolutely shred on WHC. I run Flail with AS and SS, Fervency, and Concoction, and literally solo SV patrols in 7 seconds. You hold the pot, charge the patrol, drink and at the end of the drink, ult. Flail comes out with more speed and strength, and you heavy attack through the patrol. It ignores shields so the vermin at the front die if you nail those heads hits, and everything else follows suit very quickly. Try it on Into the Nest, it's crazy how you can nuke a patrol the same way a BW does.
Something worth noting that no one ever mentions is that the 20% damage buff of the tag is fully independent of the tag itself, you can tag a mob, then tag another mob, and the first mob will continue taking 20% more damage until the duration of the original tag ends.
Just got a flail and brace of pistols crit setup with WHC that SHREDS elite patrols. Pinging everything is annoying with my controller but man he's just a blast to play. Feels like you can deal with any situation thrown at him.
Hey wet i know its a 2 year old vid but i had a question sins i have been training my witch hunter. Would it be beneficial to run "push block angle" on this class to take advantage of the light attack block passive? Or is it beter spend on something els? (I mostly use billhook)
Thanks you for the useful tips is there a way you could do Slayer next he seems so niche/weak compared to others careers or I might probably be playing him wrong thanks !
Oof, when you're crit by, _"remember this does not stack with Shrapnel"_ after 600+ hours of your WHC builds all having Shrapnel. At least it opens up some new opportunities (I basically never use anything else in that slot). Now that I think about it I'll probably have to change Bounty Hunter too if I run that 20% dmg taken-on-crit talent (and maybe there's one other talent in the game like that?)
Something worth adding here for the tagging bit, you can bind "Tag Only" to M1 at the same time as Attack. So you can tag & attack at the same time on Specials/Elites. I don't see enough WHC players doing it and it makes it so convenient.
Nah, I don't like the laziness behind the tactic. It's probably effective yea, but I'd rather manually tag so I'm not flailing wildly at the air when trying to tag something far way
Hey great content! Im new to the game and would like to understand WHC more.. the guaranteed kill when you crit a headshot, does that apply to all armored enemies as well? say for example a stormvermin with and/or without shield?
If you haven’t worked it out already. Yes yes yes it does, you can kill everything apart from a chaos warrior and standard bestigore in one hit regardless of armoru
The only ranged weapon it works with is the pistol attached to the rapier's special attack. It's incredibly amusing to potshot an elite or special and get a crit headshot with it. Instantly killing them with an attack that does about 4.5 damage at long range.
Something i see often is ppl plocking a Lot of the incoming attacks while playing WHC and thats natrual because of his passive, but as any other career its best to dodge the attack than block it because depending on the attack it will draine all of your stamina. (Also your mom)
Love the rapier. Can’t forget about the voice lines either.

Axe and falchion is just so satisfying on WHC with how easy it is to get headshots. You're just constantly making heads explode

Wonderful video but I just found out Darktide was pushed back...sad now
My favorite class in the game. Blessed Sigmar.

I wish I had this video when I first started playing!
i liked th eb part with the large sword best :>
I never knew the ult that gives you guaranteed crits takes it away from your teammates.
PRAISE SIGMAR.

Now I gotta go try the great sword that looks fun as hell!

@@hawkofthereborn43 Well you can still tag at a distance with your combined input. This is just more convenient for close-up horde fighting.

Does the "instantly slay all man sized enemies passiv" work with ranged or meeley wappons or both?
