Hello, I'm Vikas Garla a traveler from Himachal Pradesh who works as a full-time filmmaker.
Being a Thar owner, I've always wanted to convert my car into a van. After hiring several people, none of them could push it as much as I wanted, so I made the decision to do it myself. The outcome of that struggle is this.
This entire structure took almost two months to build, requiring numerous revisions and rounds of research and development. Here is the outcome of the effort of love, which hopefully will inspire you if you travel alone.

Hi, Veru nicely build Thar for camping. Loved the set up. The best part is that while sleeping inside and if an incident happens outside you can straihght away jump on the driver seat and drive away to safety. Well done Bhai. God bless you.
@@FalharNomads yes sir Thankuu so much and this was the main concept when i am alone and staying in deep forest i was not comfortable sleeping outside in tent as i started with base camping but it has different challenges so finally decided to switch and this is the result 🙏🙏🙂

I think aapko sone k liye thar ke roof me foldable tent use krna chahiye. Usse aapka interior space aur badh jayega.aur aapko front seat hatane bhi nhi pdegi.

Bhai setup bahut sahi hai Solo ke hisaab se, but I think aapko 2 logo k liye consider karna chaiye tha... This is because agar koi dusra Thar owner isse inspire hona chahega, to vo Rear kitchen setup ke liye to thik hai, but Bedding setup possible nahi hoga uske liye...
Jitna video me visible hai, aapne shayad Driver seat k ilawa baaki saari seats remove kardi hain...
Anyway, overall a good setup for Solo Thar Travellers 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻

No its on 2 bolts of rear seats and i m working on new design right now and you dnt need any services after fitting just a little can take this setup go long

@@Campingwiththar1 Thar gets too hot from inside, in summers because of fibre hard top and in winters alot of our condensed breath get accumulated at the roof, and everything gets wet inside (this happens in tent too.).
