Ren was working as a dog walker, making about $35,000 a year, when she first heard about CourseCareers. She always thought tech sales was a good career path, but coding wasn't for her.

Your story is literally almost exactly like mine from the past job to the education experience. Even the annual 35k salary. I'm almost done with the course 6 days in!

This was a great interview seeing this encourage me to apply. After selling & upselling with PetSmart hotels just dead end pay.
Q: Are there older people in tech sales? Do people get fired at a certain age? Agism in the tech industry is real. I want to start, but I am 41, and 30 years of working would put me at 71 if I spent a full 30 working years in the industry. Please help. I may start an advocacy group for older people in the tech industry, but I want to know what the real situation is right now. Please, do share the real tea.

I think this may be the path I really need to take. I did sign up for a course to do sales engineering, but I think this will be an easier way to get into tech and then work my way up to become a sales engineer if I really want to do that after we come in an SDR. And I agree with her LinkedIn has been very very helpful! The majority have been so helpful. I really hope course career will help me get a job just as long as I truly do put in the work which I will. I want to be working in Tech by the end of January.

We recommend having a high school diploma or equivalent.
I can never tell if I’m actually getting signs or is this just my phone listening? Has any real legit person did course or broken into the tech industry that is not about they can give me some information.
