How much heat would you feel if you pit your hand beside the coil while the heater is in motion? Does the device give off lots of heat?

+Markie Mark - Only the conductive part heats up, the water-cooled coil does not get warm. The system creates an electromagnetic field within the coil. The conductive work piece in the field induces eddy currents in the work piece. The friction from these is what generates heat. So the conductive work piece is what would give off heat, but the coil itself does not get warm.
