Are you quitting? If you are... hear me out. I was going to quit a little while ago, but im so crazy happy that I didn't. When I doubted my commitment to the community, and if I was going to stop posting, I remembered why I joined in the first place. This community is so wholesome, forgiving, understanding, and inclusive, I knew that when I joined, it would be hard to leave. Sure, others may think it's childish or whatever, but srcew them. Who cares. You're the main character in this story, don't change the plot for someone else's happiness? I looked past my peers opinions because in a couple years, I'll probably never see half of them again. If I'm going to be a disappointment to most of my family, never good enough AND alone, I'm going to be enjoying at least one thing, making vidoes. Because not only do I get to watch myself grow, but I get to watch other with the same interests grow as well. Plus I figured, LPSTube is already going south, and the last thing I want (in the community or not) is for LPSTube to come to an end. I grew up watching LPS videos, and without them, my mental health dropped, my will to live dropped, and my overall happiness dropped. But there's something about these little plastic toys that set my heart on fire. They make me overwhelmed with joy.
Wanna know a secret? One of my biggest milestones/goals was to not care what my brothers friends think. My brother is a lot older than me, and all his friends play a big role in my life, because when I was younger, they were all I had. I didn't have friends of my own. So, here's a little storytime. A little girl, im talkin like seven years old, has a huge play room in her house (She's related to one of my brothers closest friends so I see her quite often). Well I'm starting a very serious series about mental heath(ish) and I needed a couch and a chair for the therapy scenes. Well, this little girl had two of the calico critters living room sets, so she gave me one of the couches and one of the chairs. I was so happy i couldn't contain my joy because it was the first thing I had gotten for LPS in about 7 months, that I started dancing. The I remembered, I had to go back to her cousins house, with the toys... you know what I did? I sat the toys down on the kitchen counter, and left them right in the open. When it was time to leave I looked at her cousin and just grabbed the toys. He didn't even care. See, I got myslef all worked up about others thoughts and opinions, that I let it chip away at me self-esteem.
So please, please, please, if it's because of bulling, promise me you'll try to be strong. Because remember, these people wont care in a few years. Heck, they probably won't even remember. Honestly, I was in such a bad mental state, I was so lost and broken, I had forgotten about LPS for a moment. 2 months went by and I hadn't even touched them, and I was so, so, SO lost, I didn't even know what made me happy anymore. Then I remembered the small plastic toys in the drawer. I really don't know where I'd be if I hadn't remembered my LPS. I don't even know if i'd be here. SO if there is any chance you read this, stay strong and DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!! I love all of you!
