A good repair job. I did the same in my piece due to my doubts about proper operation. Watching carefully your video seems that "Narrow band" is not very effective. My notice: I discovered in my receiver that "narrow band" circuit tunes at 460kHz instead 455kHz. Could it be wrong Quartz cristall?
This Radio have no cristal for shortwave, this 455 khz crystal is only working on narrow fm in vhf band, for am use this radio only the adjustable zf filters.
My radio has brand "Artec", looks exactly like Pan Crusader but I do not find option "narrow band" for VHF bands. It is there for AM /SW. What I observed is that in "narrow band" the optimum tunning was shifted about 6 kHz in lower direction - It means instead generated 10MHz maximum is at 9,994 MHz. It resulted in weak "narrow band" effectiveness due to out of IF range. . In "wide band" it is exactly 10MHz. I suspect that cristall 455 kHz has really 460kHz.. Temporary I shifted all IF filters tunning and IF to about 458kHz and now it is still missing 2 kHz but in acceptable range 3kHz of IF spectrum. "Narrow Band" now is working OK. . But I am wondering if it will be better to buy and replace cristall 455kHz and that is why I asked if you had such thing..
Update. I was wrong. Hard to belive but all alignment of IF that was shifted aside and just cristall filter was ok. After realignment to 455 all is as should be.
Echt interessant, was Du damit alles so ran bekommst. Mit dem Radio müsstest Du soga Polnische UKW-Sender empfangen können, weil deren UKW-Frequenzband von 67-88 MHz betrieben wird.
Aha ! Na, wenn Du in Polen lebst, dann ist das ja klar, dass da Sender reinkommen, die auch unterhalb von 88 MHz ausgestrahlt werden. Denn hier in Deutschland sind nur Sender von 88-108 MHz zu empfangen. :-D
