I was thinking , just keep making them the way YOU like them because that is what people want to buy. It is so hard for me to make things for other people BECAUSE I am so worried they won't like it. Makes it hard and not fun. Keep having fun!!!!
YaY! Today is Sunday! 🎈HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER! 🎈..... 🙏🥰🙏MAY OUR LORD BLESS HER EVERY DAY 🙏🥰🙏 Today is my first time viewing your Channel, & I’ve enjoyed your video tutorial very much! TFS! Can’t wait to see all your other videos : )
I just love that you use Distress Inks that match your project...I am drawn solely to Vintage Photo, yet I possess so many other colors...I love the emphasis that the color matching creates...I love that both you and your hubby are creative... my hubby, my daughter and I are all also very creative; my husband is a skilled carpenter with his own business, my daughter loves to paint and is a photographer...I love to make journals and journal related goodies, I love to sew and crochet and draw animated creatures... Life is Good...❤️❤️❤️
Love this project & watching it come together, E. Thank you ever so much for showing how you accomplished it. I like the other one you made, too. I really appreciate you showing different ways to decorate & use examples. I’m saving your video, so that I have your tutorial for when I try one. Gilly (Mar 2022)
It was extremely kind and thoughtful of you to think of the seniors that are unable to make these. I'm sure they appreciate you adding the embellishments and some of these for sale. May God bless you for your kindness and for thinking of others. You are truly blessed with a gift. Your creativity and work is stunning! I love this. I would love to make one and teach my granddaughter how as well. May God bless you abundantly and may He protect you and all those you love and May He bless you with a long and healthy life. Thank you so much!!!!!!!! 😊❤🙏
@Scrapbooking With ME Crafts Lol. So do I. I remember paper crafting years ago. Remember, we used twisted paper of assorted widths. My hands hurt like hell until I learned the drill trick. I made everything and anything. I also loved and still love, making wreaths of all kinds. My RA gets me now, and then, but I do love to craft. The good Lord gave me this gift, and I'm gonna use it!! Praying for you.
Ms E, thank you so much for this tutorial. Me and my 2 nieces watched this video 3 times, co's they collected what they needed to make it. We love your channel. Again thank you for all your tutorials from Hawaii.🌺🌺
I purchased a set of these scissors a few months back after I injured my thumb. I just love them. When I need to use regular scissors I cringe because not all thumb holes on scissors are designed equally. I am in the process of getting another set to use at work. I didn't know they were designed by the Arthritis foundation, but it makes sense.
I loved how you used the blue for inking. Most people only use vintage photo for everything. The coordinated blue gives an extra pop and coordinates the different shades of blue. It looks great.
E, you have wonderful ideas, but I must admit that what I truly enjoy most about your videos is watching you embellish! It’s so relaxing and inspiring.
I’m with you Edith. I 😂I would have a hard time getting rid of this one myself too. I’m crushing very hard in this one. So so so stunning. ❤❤❤❤ I wish I hard just a little bit of your stash. U have some amazing emblesments❤
I'm at 50:32 on the project. Wow, this is much harder than I thought. Enjoyable and frustrating at times b/c I need some tools and the folder I decided to work with is an old green construction type paper file folder. I need a hole punch (those are hard to cut w/scissors) and whatever it is that dabs the ink ... a bit lost on that too. I did get some small archival inks - I have some old Stampin' Up inks that are still moist - from years ago!! Kept them "locked up" as best as I could! I glued a button down on what I'm doing and realized it needs something else under it. Oh well. I made some tea dyed papers the other day(s) and used parts of one. I need to make ephemera!! Lots of ideas, just learning how to do these things. Glues. Those are confusing. What glue when. I forgot that I wanted a pocket on the front. Oh well. Will figure that out too. AND I need to get my area set up somehow - been moving between my PC, table, stuff here and stuff there. Rearranging stuff as I figure this out. So, on top of that, you really do have an awesome talent and beautiful creations!! A lot of good, challenging crafting there!!
It’s perfect. I got a bunch of files folders from our online market in Invermere. It’s a buy and sell. When I saw you do this I bought them. Mine are yellow and light brown. I’m following you to do one for me.
Congratulations on your new spring-loaded scissors. I felt so much better when I saw you taking care of your hand with them. (LOL) They look really nice! Fiskars does make smaller ones that will work in tight places. Happy hunting.

Does the addition of glue hurt the needle? What size needles should we use when sewing such thick paper (folder)? Thank you for all the tutorials you make for all of us. My dear, you are very creative and so easy to listen to. Peace.
No. I usually let the glue have a little time to dry and I use my regular needle nothing special. Thank you so much.
