In chapter fourteen Lord Krishna uncovers matters relating goodness, passsion which everything in the material presence is affected by. He gives correlated subtle elements on the fundamental attributes of each exclusively, their motivation, the level of their strength, how they impact a living substance influenced by them and the indications of one who has transcended them. Here he obviously encourages to surrender oneself from numbness and enthusiasm and receive the way of immaculate goodness until aquiring the capacity to rise above them. Subsequently this section is entitled; The Three Qualities of Material Nature.
