We need this crossover. I know bare people in the industry are Mad about this comeback. There ain’t another podcaster who says exactly what they think which is what we need. Also I agree, sometimes right is right and wrong is wrong, objectivity is on the fence sometimes🙏🏿
Lowkey I don't get why Chuckie is pushing so hard for Spray to see the Rated situation from an objective perspective. He was basically the victim of an AM at an industry event, then went through the indignity of having the bloody aftermath filmed and posted online for his kids to see and his enemies to drop jokes on, then to top it off got pretty much blackballed for it. Getting cancelled for being stabbed and left for dead is mad. Not saying Spray's an angel or there wasn't a wider context, but you're not gonna be able to just write off the emotion associated with that kind of trauma from seeing the other side of a rhetorical argument.
@@PJ-po7fuAs an American, it’s an interesting dynamic to watch. Now I get why people say the UK scene is too small. I’ve noticed a lot of podcasters or just folks in media period are ALWAYS tiptoeing to protect certain relationships with people even when it’s flat out wrong. It’s mad. Here, everyone can say whatever they want because the scene is too big to really ever “check” someone.
I never comment on stuff, but this was a really good episode especially having spray as a guest…hope he gets embraced eventually….his character is needed in some way….he’s like stone cold Steve Austin of the podcast world 🤣 The bad guy the people love
@yansanent it's the man who tumps out your mudda every night. Jokes aside young spray moves like a nitty I have to fast forward certain parts he gets too excited. No behaviour is a better watch
If ppl really cared about preserving the authenticity and perception of our first Award show, then we need to question why a man chose the show to green light a cheffin... them man didnt give a shit about the grm show or what it meant for the culture lol
They have built a platform and spray is building his. Great conversation, well done all three of you. Clarity, respect and deliberation of matters in hand. You didn’t say nothing on the ‘situation’ all them years ago and waited for spray to get back to his best to have him on.
We need to hold up young spray with so much high regard! They don’t make them like this anymore & to see the growth is crazy 😅 I remember some mad stories from this guy years ago. He’s actually being humble trust me
I was never really into the old school uk hip hop of sprays era, but spray in the podcast era is too funny man. He's deffo one of the most interesting characters on the scene. It's a shame about all the dramas but big him up on his new path.
Chuckies mentality to “protect the culture” good or bad is a weird. Not everything you’re involved in is going to be good. There needs to be a balance shown because that’s realistic and I think thats why Spray’s show is on the rise lol
02:39 mins I think the club poet is talking about is Rudolph’s. It was a small bar/nightclub type place. Everyone from Tottenhams been there at one point. It’s old school Tottenham like temple (previously club UN)
Brilliant episode. So many subjects - Spray is 100% right in everything he said, even Poet agreed slightly! Chuckie is the industry (“I’m gonna get a phone call” - Chuckie being shook now) Spray mentions, it’s so clear. Sprays intelligence is unmatched, only Loonz and Margs can sit with him and speak the realness - everyone else has to watch what they say for many different reasons, industry, affiliations, where you live etc.
I think Chuckie is “culture”. And anyone for culture is good for the industry. And let’s stop using the word industry like it’s entirely bad. Wherever money is made, there’s an industry. There’s loads of money in the scene now so there’s an industry, whether you like it or not…
Nah dem man push industry agendas, the industry was built around the culture however it's not the culture hence why the biggest people in the industry aren't of the culture. Or if they were once authentically the culture they let it go for industry ideals.
I don’t even comment like that! But instant classic! Bring him back Chuckie! But big you up because I know certain people are scared to say they rock with spray
Chuckie coming with this maybe this maybe that talk, maybe nuttin posty is a nerd. Spray got stabbed up at his award show, a guy who he’s come through for bare times to drop on his channel. Spray might be a mad man but bare people are mad man. Forget everything else posty should of at least rang him or got in contact with him as soon as he could to see if he was good, even if he don’t like him, from a business owner point of view. And chuckle is one of the most industry podcast interview guys about. He’s does vice n them tings..? He went on sprays ting early doors aswel though so
The most entertaining episode for awhile so much funny moments serious issues addressed and lots of banter Jah bless you all ❤️💛💚🖤👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🏆🇩🇲🐊👊🏾🚿
Spray is undoubtedly representing wholesome growth. You know a real man can admit insecurities and fears and overcome them , he talks therapy, and he talks reform he talks sense. He's become the role model he needed in his own life, and his religion is keeping him sane, so good luck to him... he's still a madman though, but I guess being a madman is like being an addict to anything your only one step away from going back and this is keeping him honest. lo😂l😂
What spray don't get is people were avoiding drama all that time till now. Not everyone is like him and the People's like him who have really been active. So instead of openly picking a side they evade the situation by avoiding one side. And he was the side avoided. I have to rate his realness

That Dominican bucket hat is cold tho
Chuckie was on the ropes this episode 😂😂😂
This the easily the best episode this podcast has had in about 2 years
35:25 tbh i hear why he feels like this, the "industry" basically allowed an attempt on his life
Spray's talkin sense. All the tap dancing to not upset relationships is 100% being industry. Lets not play dumb.
Exactly it's certainly industry. Everyone playing the Emperor's New Clothes fable breeding people even when they release new music.
Ive had to watch this 3 times since it dropped. Spray made this a classic episode. Highest level of realness
