    Got one myself and love it. Wear it everyday and I’m a mechanic and the magnet is pretty stout. Never comes undone with all the constant bending I do. Best belt I’ve ever owned

    I like my belt. I’ve been wearing the GL for a few years now. It’s frayed up a bit and the buckle is all scratched. Which I’m ok with. As it’s not a “dress belt.”
    I aiwb g19 rmr cut with a lot of different holsters so I personally move the belt buckle over to the right loop. Which doesn’t dig into me in anyway. It’s stretchy so while working, bending over, in and out of vehicles, it doesn’t pinch you. It doesn’t sag. And I’ve never had the buckle unclip on me. You find your size once and that’s it.
    My brother got his Kore Tactical version around the same time and his looks brand new like the day he got it. As mine is beat up and has “life” to it.
    I had him use mine and he said he definitely preferred the ratchet style and the more stiffer belts. So each his own I would I say. The Kore leather belt I think is gonna be my next purchase because everyone I know praises them.
    If you buy it directly from their website there is different sizes. If you get it from academy it’s a one size fits all. Up to 50” I think it is. But overall. The GL has done it’s job and kept me very comfortable for the past 2-3 years. I’d buy it again.

    So, long term, how'd it turn out? Sitting down for a while, does the buckle dig into your stomach? What about bending over? Do we get buttcrack?
    My biggest issue with belts is that after a few days of wearing them, they tend to bend out of shape laterally. (when I lay the belt out flat on the bed/ground it'll curve upward rather than being straight, because it's formed to my waist.) Which causes the belt to slip and not stay in place, generally in the back.

    • @twolinesslotcars
      @twolinesslotcars  2 года назад

      I would buy the belt again. I have no issues with the buckle digit into my stomach. I don't have an issue with my butt crack showing.. I have had to tighten the belt once in over a years time.. just one adjustment and still going strong. the buckle is the best thing about the belt.

    The reason belts don't line up with pants is because pants are sold in vanity sizing to make people think they are skinnier then they really are. Studies have shown people will buy the clothing with a smaller size label over the same clothing with the real size. Vanity sizing has gotten worse over time. Now with suit pants, a 34 is actually 34" inches. Belts follow this pattern as they traditionally were worn with suits. Take your favorite Jean and button it up. Lay it on the bed and measure across the waist. Double that number to get the full circumference and you'll see how off your jeans are to reality.

      Thank you, that is great insight. Yes, make people feel better about their size equates to sales for the manufacturer.

    I like the belt but I haven't seen anybody actually put one on. I bought another type magnetic buckling belt and I have to take the buckle apart because it won't go through the loops of my pants.
    Not a showstopper but would have been nice to know before hand.

    • @twolinesslotcars
      @twolinesslotcars  2 года назад

      Chuck, I do not have any issues feeding the buckle through the loops in the pants that I wear. I wear dress pants to work every day and have no issues. I have a pair of casual pants that I feel like the loops are small and it is a little tight. I have never had a problems with any of my jeans. I hope that helps.

      I’m back with a update this belt just doesn’t do it for me I still get belt pain from the buckle. I’m better off wearing a shoe string for a belt at this point. I’ve spent countless dollars on belts I don’t know if I’ll ever find a belt that doesn’t hurt. It’s really sad tbh
