OMG!!! I didn't know that Au Bain Marie had opened in the 6th. When vacationing in Paris, my regular neighborhood has been the 6th, almost annually since the mid-1970s. I used to metro over to The Right Bank and regularly shop at the big split-level store of Au Bain Marie on rue Boissy D'Anglas. I had the same salesperson for years back in either the late 80s or the 90s, I think it was. I was a very young adult putting together my first houseware collection. Then, that store closed and I thought that was it. I should have looked it up on continuous annual trips to Paris over the decades.
I have a lot their plain white dinnerware; plates/cups/saucers/small teapots with the bronze-gold colored writing of the store's name on each item. Each trip, I hauled it all back home to L.A. in carry-on bags and suitcases.
Yesterday, I was just eating dinner on one of the white dinner plates from the 1990s, I think. I was last in Paris in 2018, but don't know when Au Bain Marie started up again. You've walked upon a gem of a store. I hope you found some beautiful items to your likings.
