- A judge has denied Donald Trump's motion for a mistrial in his New York criminal case in the wake of testimony from adult film actress Stormy Daniels. Trump's attorneys had argued elements of Daniels' testimony had "nothing to do" with the case. CBS News legal contributor Jessica Levinson has more.

You are correct, except that interest in buying her story intensified so it could be buried intensified between the time the Access Hollywood tapes came out and the General election was held. It establishes intent to interfere with an election which is a crime.
