I got those. Finished them and gave them as gifts. I got the bird awhile back so I didn’t buy that one. I think you have to get the sale only in the stores.
I hope the Make Market brand comes out with more designs since I think they're a reasonable price even without the sale.
Love how the Red Truck turned out I am sure the rest will be the same. I am sure there should be a Michaels close to me maybe Lacey or Olympia. Enjoyed the video till next time.

I went to micheals site and they are sold out online. I saw a review under the cardinal one that they had run out of the red color so I would save any reds from your other kits in case you need them. Have a great week. 😀

I got the kitten one and it is only a partial but the rest were full drill
I specifically only got the full drill ones since the partials were the same price.
I have 3 of the 4 you showed. Great quality for the price. Not sure if this company produces diamond paintings all year or just for the holidays.

I cut one side of the boxes off and used the boxes to hold my extra square drills

Will you incorporate these left over drills into your storage? I so get the color matching of the drills that you do. I didn’t care and mixed all mine together but now wishing I had not done that. I am finding that Diamond Dotz are different colors. Also, I am doing my first Dreamer Designs kit (older version) and the drills seam to be flatter. Would you mix these in with the other drills or keep them separate?
I will likely put the leftover drills in my storage but I will have to color match. These looked like normal diamond painting drills. Diamond Dotz drills are faceted differently so they must be manufactured differently. I wonder if the older Dreamer Designs kits were acrylic drills which I do find to be a little smaller than resin drills. I would probably still add them to my other drills since it probably won't be that noticeable when mixed with the others. I have started separating out my resin drills though so I would likely mix the flatter drills with my acrylics.
I like the cardinal. Just wonder how boring it would be with large areas of same color.
I am curious about the difference between hand charting vs. computer generating. And how does one tell the difference? Beautiful work (as usual) on your truck. Curious if you used the ruler on the white drills.
Computer generation tends to have a lot of confetti and looks closer to the original image when looking at it from afar. Hand charted diamond paintings tend to be a bit easier and have obvious lines charted into it so the details are clearer but it does tend to be a little more boxy or cartoony. I don't know if I explained that well. I didn't use the ruler for this diamond painting.

Does anyone know how to purchase extra diamonds for the Make Market kits?
Have you tried contacting the manufacturer? I don't think the Make Market kits have color codes for their drills.

Went to Michael’s. Found 3 DPs I liked but maybe it is just me (and it often is) but found the website difficult to maneuver. Frustrated so left and saved myself $50+.
I bought the 4 just to get to free shipping. My closest Michaels is too far away to visit to just window shop so when I go there, I usually do the buy online and pick up at store just to make sure what I wanted was in stock.
I saw these once at Michaels and was tempted to get it, but I didn’t. Now I regret that! But the nearest Michaels is an hour away so it might not be worth it. Oh well!

Yea, cheaper, but how are they 'diamond painting' when their drills are NOT faceted, just smooth and shiny. Faceted drills are the whole point! Seems this hobby is being driven out of stores and into online sales as Micheal's is only carrying this brand. Selection at Hobby Lobby and Joann is very limited.
I just went an looked at my finish and it doesn't look much different than my other round drills where the facets end a point on the top of the drill. I think only Diamond Dotz uses a more faceted round drill. I mainly do squares and specials so maybe the difference is not as noticeable to me.
