Gollum didn't come with the 1st edition. That's why he's in a separate baggie. He's a bonus. You can play the game without it. Many people replace the regular dice with a set of blue and a set of red dice. It works a lot better.
My first edition War of the Ring came with really heavy, glossy dice and when I got the second edition it came with dice like you have, so I swapped them out.
I'd love a solo fantasy wargame so hope a solo playthrough vid eventuates but understand why if you can't get don't have time with all the new releases. At the moment I play Battlelore 2nd ed solo using my own combination of a couple of solo variants but I've heard good things about the solo variant for this. ☺
I really enjoy Gloom of Kilforth. Vognus is making progress through the chapters nows so we'll see how it turns out! Sword & Sorcery is next my friend starting with the Component Overview coming soon!

I got this game a couple weeks ago. Have played 4 or 5 times, and I love it! Best game I've ever played!
It's so good! There's a barrier to it but once you knock that down it becomes a beloved game very quickly!

Q Workshop do some really nice Elven and Dwarf Dice.

Smart call! I ended up tracking down an Anniversary edition of the game so now I have some very good dice too! :)
Are you referencing the garbage dice you use to resolve battles or the action dice?
