This is awesome Mal. I'm working on an Oathkeeper/Arcanist that is very similar using Mavens and Olexra for the -fire resist and added stun resist and its really shaping up well thanks to you.
I recently transitioned into this build, and I am loving it. I transitioned at level 89 into a Shiedbreaker, picking up Demo 2nd. I leveled as a retaliation tank. Just hit Lv 100

Hey Malagant, im a somewhat new player 100 hours in so far , leveling this build on hardcore without any gear and its working so far (lvl79) i sometimes get punshed in the face quiet hard by for example the tree mobs in ugdenbog , the i would say only issue is getting enough defensive ability to not get crit by bosses all the time. thanks for the video :)

I wanted to thank you for the build, I got the dlc just to spin 2 win and cyclone from PoE + Whirlwind from D3 have always been my favourite skills.
I got the dlc yesterday and in the few hours I've played I did aspirant crucible at quite a low level even with the defensiveness of the Lokar set it was quite easy and veteran is so far quite easy, I can't wait to reach Ulitimate with this build.
Biggest difference I went with this build so far is for meteor I decided to link it to the guardian I just felt like the proc were happening more often. The only thing I don't like is Thermite mine, wish you could have the same feature in Poe like having a skill link to another with a channeling gem or cast on crit. I only want to spin 2 win!

I have a question regarding your guide: im actualy leveling an oathkeeper ( lvl 30 ) should i care about the physical to fire conversion or a pure fire damage weapon while leveling on elite?
I didnt found a fire weapon or physical to fire weapon items so far. Would this class combo still be strong?
should i get the first demol skills or focus on oathkeeper skills first?
Thanks for another great video, and thank you for showing off the build. I've played softcore for hundreds and hundreds of hours and just recently switched to hardcore to see what I can achieve. Seeing you succeed in hardcore has certainly helped motivate me to give it a go. It has been a bit of an account reset for me in that regard.
I am wondering, do you plan to continue using Grim Internals after you switch away from an EoR build? Do you feel it is worth using if I'm only interested in the automatic component looting? After playing Grim Dawn (and farming) for a long time, the most time consuming and monotonous thing for me is picking up the components that seem to drop all the time.
Thank you for your comment, unfortunately it is very hard to drop grim internals after starting to use it. The dps information, health bars and never picking up components again is I believe a QoL I would not like to lose at this point.. So there is no turning back cause you will like its, try at your own risk :)

What u think about ring "mythical Entropic Coil" its 10k burn dmg proc. And he has + on EoR is it good ring for build based on procs?
Hi, i am kind of new to grim dawn, almost 50 hours so far. I want to give a try to this build and idk if I should level demolitionist first or oathkeeper ?
What would be a good and easy Starter/Beginner class?

another good option for eye of reckoning is dualwielding shields and going soldier soldier
I don't get how to put skills in the Devotion so that I unlock some of the Constellations without have enough of Affinities. I get how you can reset affinities in the Crossroad but as soon as I pick a random Constellation go get the right amount of affinities and then try to reset it (couse it's not in the build) it only says that I can't reset it couse it's support another skill...

I just finished crucible lvl 170 today with this char, same build except belt(cinderplate girdle) pants(barbaros). The build in this char. is a monster and the gameplay is easy just hit and run/spin and burn procs. is crazy! Can face all nemesis also Ravager.
A bit late to the party but you think this will work on 1hand and shield?
Would you recommend to someone new to the game? Playing softcore but I wonder if I can tackle most end game content with it (IDC about crucible nor celestials) but I would like to farm nemesis and such, also thanks a lot for your videos grim Dawn doesn't get enough coverage sadly :/
For someone new, I suggest Death Knight, you do not go wrong with him, i recently played DK and got Krieg set, i was able to beat nemesis and lokarr, if I knew DK was this good I would have start it from the beginning, I played Warlock and I struggled a lot, DK is fast and strong, you can farm end game gear with him for other characters you would like to play with, help tons.
@@EruRoraitoX thanks for your input I should had clarified, new to the expansion, I already did a Dk, farmed kriegg set and got full lokarr set but I wanna start from scratch something with the new class :)
@@Anesthesia90 then you are not new to the game if u did beat Lokarr, DK is the way to go to farm legendaries and make them ready for a new character

This probably sounds dumb but. Is there a way to see how many points are actually in a talent in grimtools? Like without the gear bonuses? I figured hovering over it in grimtools would've showed something but it doesn't. Cheers!

i went with soldier and more dps devo here. its way more tanky i guess but downside was i could not use EoR till like 60lvl
Im currently level 70, and this build makes fun, but im curious if we have to drop Ulzuins parts because of the upcoming patch!? Will you update the build...?

Hey there, i saw the video and i wanna try out your build and i noticed your devotion build it's different on grimtools on the link and different on the video. Which one of the two you think is the most worth putting points into ?

I know that your gear is based on what you have found, but how about dual.wielding grim fate + alladrah's spellblade? Would have to change medal to one that enables it (korvaak's brand for example), but you would gain extra flint for 15% more phys to fire, another 15% conversion from grim fate. Full phys to fire on EoR, a bit flat fire/burn added to EoR, small range/dmg increase to thermite. And the weapon procs would be little different. You would lose the energy regen, but gain CDR instead. I believe that the faster attack speed of 1handers would replace the attack speed.
edit: oh right, you don't really have anything else but EoR doing physical, so grim fate might not be the best one to pair with alladrah's since it gives it full conversion.
Sounds good, I am still searching for another spellblade, will check the theory craft afterwards.
where drop the infernal brimstone?
i'm making my empyrion summon to use meteor devotion, it's really good.
it's like flying meteor everywhere, while i'm spinning.
Even more if you can get a Mythical Infernal Brimstone :) Granted must be a 2h Build then hehe
@@rolf565 ah today i'm using the 2 handed mace which summon a meteor if i'm hitting critical. :)
my legend are basically a mess atm. with summon empyrion at 19+ with high burn damage and can't die, while im kiting like a coward hahahahaha (hard boss)
I think this is the Weapon i mentioned. Or maybe there are more Weapons with Meteor procs :)

I leveled with Vire and then transitioned to EoR and this is the most fun I've ever had in GD... Now I have a problem: What the heck other builds can I play and still enjoy the game after this?!
Could you run this build with a 1 handed melee weapon and a shield? Great looking build btw :)
If you're going sword and board, then you're better off (dps wise and hp wise) with a warlord and octavius set.

Regarding the build, I've been leveling/playing this along side your stream on HC. I'm only 65, but I've had no issues on a fresh start so far. I think I'm lacking DPS because I've had to focus on HP/resists while leveling, but i don't think any boss has been hard for me.
I leveled with Vire's Might to 55'ish and then transitioned into EoR when i had the devotions i wanted.

So I got this game yesterday, just finished Veteran and done a little bit in Elite, thinking about restarting as I messed up my stat points or w/e it's called.
But before I do that, what is it at end game? It kinda seems like there isn't much to do? In Diablo3 we have Grift pushing, which is fun. In PoE we have the mapping system with the end game bosses. What do we do here? Really enjoying the playstyle so far, just curious if it is worth spending more time with.
you can reset your stats, devotions and atributes in the game. So dont worry about it to much. We do have shattered realm which is very like the greater rifts from diablo 3. There is alot more to do in grim dawns end game then there is in diablo 3. The only thing that keeps me going back to diablo 3 is the seasons. grim dawn have tons of secrets, like areas, quests and...yeah I could write for awhile. Im new to the game to. bought it on this recent steam sale. I dont understand HOW I missed this game in the first time. Great game.

Just found this on RUclips recommendation. The video is pretty good 9n explaining the build. But I think this is too long and not to the point compared to some guide. For one who's new to the game, guide that explains which skills to take from the beginning to 100 and what path to take for devotion would be more helpful imo. Like for the devotion, it required times to figured out which path to take to get certain devotions.

Your devotions don't make sense ... the requirements don't add up. Did you use an add on to cheese it? Also your grimtools doesn't match.
Nice build but way, way too long 15-20 min max for build guides
