My dearest Sarah and Kyuho, I hope you are starting to recover from all the drama. I am still so shocked that you were used and abused in such a way. It took me a few weeks to collect my thoughts and write this message. I am so glad that this community rallied around you. Due to illness I have not been able to work since 2020 and RUclips became a salvation. I found your channel in 2021 and binge watched all previous videos in chronological order, and I have never missed a video since. I love everything about your channel; Sarah’s amazing editing and narrations skills, Kyuho’s top notch music choices, the way you portrait Korea and Canada, your mini documentaries, Kyuho’s (ugly) kitchen endeavors, Beemo’s cuteness (so glad he is doing better), your relationship and your AUTHENTICITY. I am a highly sensitive person and have a lot of childhood trauma (working on that now), and I have the capacity to quickly ‘read the room’ and see if someone is sincere or not, or sense someone's mood. I had for example noticed that Kyuho has been a bit subdued these last couple of months. Unfortunately there are a bunch of people on this platform that bumps my radar. I just stay away from them, but they have sadly tainted a lot of people's perception of content creators. I have been a regular user of RUclips since 2017 so I understand sponsorships, affiliate links, and how much work is actually required to run a channel. I see a lot of RUclipsrs channels do different (and sometimes conflicting) sponsorships in every video. I don’t mind as long as I feel that the person is authentic in the rest of the video. My point is that it is very OBVIOUS for your regular viewers that you only promote what you really love. I can clearly see that you are leaving a lot of money on the table because your INTEGRITY is more important to you than money. And judging from the comments, a lot of my fellow viewers have noticed it too. 👍 So please don’t pay any attention to the internet trolls, they will quickly move on. Remember that your regular viewers and supporters know and value your true character. You handled this whole mess in such a professional and classy manner. 👏 As soon as I have recovered and can work again I will join both your Patreon and RUclips community. In the meantime I am sending a super chat. Please take the money and treat yourself to lunch or dinner. I hope you will have a lovely Christmas! Sending lots of love and light from Sweden. 🎁🧡🎄
After the last couple of weeks and the influx of hateful comments we’ve had to deal with, you have no idea how much yours means to us ❤ We honestly have no words to say how grateful we are to you, and to our community. Thank you so much. Sending positive thoughts your way for a full recovery ❤ Hope you have a warm and cozy holiday 🎄 You made our night ❤
@misscaroline542 Thank you for your beautiful sharing. It cannot be said enough! One of the most wonderful channels Because not only interesting and fun, but who Kyuho & Sarah are as people ~ Hoping for You ~ great well being
That is one fancy Tim Hortons! Love the ceiling. What a delicious video. I live outside of Vancouver and the H Mart in our area carries a lot of what you had. Thanks for another great vlog!
Love this episode. You guys made me think about when I was in S. Korea in the US Army at Camp Humphreys. I used to eat with the KATUSA's to get the varity of Korean foods. I was taught how to cook Korean foods by a co workers wife and the KATUSA's on the barracks. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful videos. My daughter and I watch all we find.
I live in Massachusetts, USA and I really love this channel, I grew up never really seeing healthy homesteads or relationships, and in a weird way, this is kind of therapeutic and educational for me as a 24 year old male. I feel like I’ve learned from watching you guys, and seeing your lifestyle versus that of probably the most fast-paced and stressed out state in America is refreshing. I really hope this channel blows up, the content has gotten better and better ❤️ god bless you guys. To add additional context, I’m African American and feel like I might be your most obscure demographic of viewer 🤣 lastly, the food you guys eat! Don’t get me started it looks 🔥🔥
I saw another comment which I think speaks to the video where you guys were “ousted” for trying to review a product, grow your channel and support a cool/interesting company without promising the product would give your viewers eternal life and X-ray vision - to add to that other comment showing support, I am HERE because of that video, and it is clear that you guys meant no harm, are genuine and happened to get picked on by a channel that is probably ran by someone jealous of your kind vibes and authenticity. I would try to polarize that situation, and understand that although there was destructive intent, it has brought you loyal viewers ❤
I was just thinking the other day, that we haven't had a closer cooking follow along lately and here we are with Kyuho cooking up all that streetfood. (To be fair though, I watch a lot of cooking content on a regular basis and I always just enjoy your chill vlogs no matter what, but I've also just been down a rice cooker rabbit hole around Black Friday, so now everytime you film the kitchen I notice your rice cooker, so I end up thinking about all the stuff you could cook in that).
I love that there’s so many different Korean street food that you can just use the air fryer. Makes it super easy to cook. I wish there’s more availability in regular non Korean grocery stores.
Hope you all had a nice holiday...got behind and am trying to get caught up on my vid's...i.m a sucker for tteokbokki...a Korean friend makes it on the dry side like yours seemed to be...Mine is more soupy with melted cheese and spam and grapefruit soju...oh to die for...your camera work is so awesome and artistic...good luck in the New Year...fighting beemo...
I hope Tim's is better in Korea than it is here in Toronto. Ever since Burger King bought them years ago I find the coffee and food just tastes cheap. McDonald's here has the old Tim's coffee. Those brown sugar pancakes sound delicious, I'll have to go check the Asian supermarket near me when its not pouring rain outside.
Hey Sarah and Kyuho. You know what I have noticed living here in the states is the quality and taste of Korean frozen meal kits. Great to have around when you don’t feel like cooking. I don’t know if Seoul has a Trader Joe’s, but the frozen kim bap they say is all the craze currently. Always sold out. They are legit.
These street foods I had when I went to Korea in 2017. I found them in a Asian market in Starkville, MS (College town). So, I couldn't believe it! Especially since MS is a rural state. Hoteok really is my favorite. Brings back memories 😊
I keep forgetting Sarah * Book Recommendation: Have you ever read anything by Barbara Kingsolver? Just written so well! Also, same note but on the vampiric spectrum. Anne Rice: The Vampire Le'stat. Once when I was mourning, a teacher recommended this one and wow! she's a great writer as well.
Omg that white fuzzy throw blanket you have on your chair in the last segment looks sooooo soft and comfortable 🤩 I am NOT a fan of winters, but one of the few things I like about that season is being able to throw blankets on every 'seatable' surface in my apartment to wrap around myself. When it's cold outside there is nothing I want more than being as cozy as possible lol
Yes, I’ve tried the rice cakes in the ted sauce with fishcakes. Delicious!!! A flea market in our area that’s been around for ahes now has in their indoor shopping booths a fast food Korean restaurant. Sooo glad I tried it, its delicious!!!!
Sarah and Kyuho, I'm glad to see you doing better than past weeks. Just remember that you are loved and supported through good times and rough times. I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas. Stay warm!🥰🥰
I have a big Asian supermarket and just recently found some mini taiyakis. They have red bean and sweet potato. I don’t like red bean but the sweet potatoes were so good. Dip in cool whip!
I also make Hottoek at home. Delish and fairly easy. I use oil only to handle very sticky dough and fill the Hotteok. I use a none stick pan with a very small amount of oil...just coat pan.
Living in Romania, I have made homemade hotteok before. But recently I have seen the option to buy the frozen version for Hotteok, mandu ( even fresh ones) and instant tteokbokki. They also have frozen fish cakes and rice cakes. I usually got them from the online or local K-shop but now I can find them in supermarkets in the sushi area. The local k-shop has triangle kimbap and offers a space to cook ramyun.
Didnt get the time to watch yesterday so today it is, i am again just in aaww seeing your video, pls can you tell me about the chicken soup or stew you had for dinner, i love it and i would love to recreate that. Have wonderful cozy holidays and stay warm and safe.
Somebody's gotta give us a Tim Horton's sneak peak! You carried out the mission well 🫡😅 Also, nothing quite hits like tteokbokki made at home.. Looks delicious!
Hi, Sarah and Kyuho! Loved your video! We love being able to buy hotteok from our local HMart or Galleria in Toronto. Sooo good! Also, have you every tried adding a bit of curry powder to your dukboki sauce? It tastes delicious! Our HMart also has the fish with custard or red bean. In the past I didn't care for anything red bean related, as I grew up in Canada like you. However, after being married for many years to my Korean husband, I enjoy red bean buns and danpatjuk (sweet red bean porridge).
Thank you! Woah, sounds like you have quite the variety over there! I loved sweet red bean the first time I tried it, but I realized I was the minority in the group of my foreigner friends who mostly really disliked it 😅 It’s definitely a very different type of dessert if you haven’t grown up with it!
Seeing all the street food made me miss South Korea so much. I visited for 3 months and Tteokbokki was my absolute favorite thing to eat! I hope you guys are doing better!
Hey Guys! I literally just bought from Trader Joe’s (American grocery chain) frozen Scallion Onion Pancake & Tteok bok ki. I love the pancakes. Haven’t tried the Tteok bok ki. Been trying to get my hands on their frozen kimbap. It keeps selling out! It’s such a popular item that H-Mart has been trying to grab TJ customers attention regarding their frozen kimbap. Have you tried frozen kimbap? Is it just as good? Have a great week. Now if only Tim Horton’s would come to NoCal.
We haven’t tried frozen kimbap yet, but we’re super curious! We should look around here and see if they have something like it. Not sure if there would be much demand in Korea, since there are kimbap restaurants everywhere, but we’ll see!
In NYC these items can be found readily in our local Hmart. Trader Joe carries a lot of frozen Korean street food but they’re always out of stock!! I hear Costco has become big Korean food purveyor recently. But these days Korean packaged ramyun brands-buldak, shin, Jin etc are found regular supermarket/grocery aisles. Korean food/brands and Korean eateries been one of the biggest unintended beneficiaries of popularity of K-media around the world.
I always buy frozen hotteok and bungeoppang from Hmart and Seoul Plaza in London. They don't taste the same as the ones I had in Seoul, but they are really good.
Yeah.. In asian marts here in ph, there's a lot of those packages as to diy korean streetfood, i love it sometimes my fav, I learned in this vlog the proper way of preparing and eating tteokbokki XD so hungry watchin this vlog thanks guysss
Hi, can you do a video on appliances in Korea versus US. I am also curious how kitchen tools vary from American such as blenders, panini makers, rice cookers, ovens etc. I heard that Korean living spaces don't generally have ovens, so what do you use? I am considering applying for work in Korea and am currently in Colorado, USA. Not sure how I should prepare for the move especially because I have a ton of kitchen appliances and tools I'm not sure Korea would have available there. If this is content you would be interested in making that would be great! I guess I'm wondering what Korea doesn't have that America does lol thanks amd LOVE your channel 🥰
My boyfriend and I get stuffed Korean pancakes (brand is Daifuku) that are similar to hotteok at H-Mart, they're a little bigger and they come in a bunch of different flavors. They have sweet options like taro, brown sugar, cinnamon, and also savory options like japchae and green onion. Love them! And I agree with you about tteokbokki, a lot of the pre-made ones I've tried have either been too spicy or I wasn't as big of a fan. I like making the sauce at home myself 😋 We live in an area that has a lot of Korean restaurants and markets, but we're hoping to actually visit Korea next year!
I’m hungry now that I’ve watch you guys eating that yummy 😋 food I live in Australia so now I need to go to local Korean store and see if I can find your suggestions. Will let you know.
Watched this while eating kimchi ramen... and... I'm sooooo jealous! We have an Asian grocery near us that is pretty extensive. I've bought the prepackaged tteokbokki, and it IS spicy. I added a little brown sugar and that calmed it down a little bit.
Watching this on this gloomy Manila morning make me crave. I've had that kimmari one here and it's so tasty. Got it from our friendly neighborhood Korean mart 😅
I love your videos as always. ❤ I just ordered the skincare box. I just loved the products from March this year so much and i hope the new products from this december box as equally as good.😊 Keep up the good work watch the videos is my sunday evening treat.❤ Happy Holidays to you!
Hi Sarah! Hi Kyuho! Oh my gosh! Loved this so much! Hotteok is one of my favorites to get at KBBQ, and I was super excited to find them at frozen at H-Mart. Trader Joe’s has started to carry frozen Korean items, although, I’ve seen mixed reviews about the tteokbokki. Kyuho’s dish looked so yummy! Buena Park, CA., has a place called ‘The Source,’ that we like to go to. It’s a 3 story Korean shopping mall, filled with shops, restaurants, and street foods. Outside of K-Town in Downtown LA., Buena Park, to me, has some great places, AND you don’t have to fight the LA traffic. Our Costco carries the frozen Bungeo-ppang (sp?), called Taiyaki. They’re the same size as yours and toasted in the air fryer…..OMG, yes! Delicious! Thank you for sharing your winter street foods with us! Stay warm, well, and bundled up!
Vancouver BC being a diverse multi-cultural city, we have a big Korean community here in Van. Instant Korean foods are widely available. Aside from the small Mom and Pop Korean convenient stores around the city, we can get these in big Korean supermarkets like H-Mart, Hannam Supermarket and Assi Supermarket and also from Asian Suoermarkets like T&T Supermarkets. You can say we are lucky here in Van that way because we love Korean f0od. LOL
Thanks for the nice video! As you mentioned, H-mart or T&T sells these kind of food, so I always get them especially Kimary 😄 However, I still miss the original ones on the street🥲
I've made hoddeok a few times from Korean supermarket items here in London, both from frozen and from one of those box packages where you make it yourself. The frozen ones were easier to make and just as tasty. Most Korean stores also have quite a big ddeokbokki range but I'm not keen on the texture of ddeok so haven't tried them! Will have to look out for bbung-eoh bbang as I really loved them in Korea!
Sweden do not have anything like this 😅 I mean you could probably buy a cinnamon bun at a corner store but I think we’d rather “fika” instead. So more traditional pastries with coffee! I had the Japanese equivalent of the fish in Japan and loved it, also love red bean paste which was pretty surprising.
I love hotteok so much! It's just so sticky when I make it at home because I try not to use so much oil. This makes me crave it. I might make some this week! What brand of frozen hotteok do you recommend? I will try looking for it in store.
Street food is cool because one gets the added fun of eating this food outdoors in the street and feeling like one is in a happening place. The best street food I ever enjoyed was toasted corn on the cob with a sprinkle of salt and squeeze of lime juice in a night market in a majority Indigenous Guatemalan town North of Guatemala City. And cucumber sliced lengthways sprinkled with a mixture of ground pumpkin seeds, chili, salt, and lime juice... also nice. So glad your Beemo is doing well! Hope S. Korean Veterinary Science gets better at treating feline Kidney disease. My parents and I have lost several cats to this disease. Peace, joy, and good health to you, Beemo, and your families!
There's a H Mart supermarket 2 min drive away. Pretty sure they have most of these street food. Definitely will try at some point! Thanks for sharing what you did!
I actually buy the seaweed rolls at my local H-MART. I have expanded my love for Korean foods. I am vegetarian so I do modify some of the recipes I follow. I also watch a couple of vegan Korean you tubers and follow their recipes also. I love tteobokki with noodles. Thanks for sharing.
As a Canadian, I feel like it's your duty to do a proper Tim's video once the hype cools down. 😂 Outside of Canada, I've only been to Tim's in the UK - both Scotland and England. It's pretty pricy in the UK as well. Maybe not double, but not cheap!
I love Korean street food. I was so lucky when I stayed in Myeong Dong in June this year that every evening a night market set up out the front of the hotel I stayed at. It was so fun. I ate lots of different things, but my favorite was the fish on sticks with hot cup of soup and egg bread. I ate lots of the Bungeo-bbang cakes from a street vendor near Lotte, he had about 5 or 6 different types. I love the red bean one but I also tried apple which was good too. They are getting a lot more Asian marts opening here in Halifax, there is two, one just newly opened in same area called Bayers Lake down from an existing one. There is also a Korean restaurant just down the road from me called Arirang that we order from all the time. In the Clayton Park area where I live there are all kinds of good Asian restaurants which we're very happy about because we eat Asian food all the time and want authentic food.
The Korean market near our house (in Saskatoon) has had frozen Hotteok for a few years with lots of different fillings. They aren't quite the same as the real thing but they are still quite tasty!
The international Timmies are ALWAYS fancier than the ones back home in Canada. 😂 Meanwhile in Canada so many locations look like they havent been renovated since the late 90s 😅
Hey Sara! I wanted to try and make your blueberry muffins to my family this Christmas but I can’t find the video. Can you remind me which one it is? (As it was a while ago 😬)
A few years ago Tim Hortons started a higher end branch of restaurants that has a menu with a smaller donut variety and some new sandwiches. They have a newer and modern design. I suspect Timmie's in Korea is modelled after it or a cross between the two restaurants. My Mom occasionally occasionally makes hottoek. I know the brown sugar variety is the most popular, but I have always preferred her red bean variety.
I love tteokbokki my favorite Korean street food. I made my own also good thing here in the Philippines there so many Korean store already. Sarah & Kyuho may I know what kind of noodles did you use for your tteokbokki recipe? I use Jin Ramen but I would like to try another brand.😊
Never been a coffee guy, but those Timmy's donuts are yum! I'm actually not surprised at the prices only because it's in Gangnam, super expensive lease I'm sure. And as you guys mentioned, I think they are trying to project more of a trendy/fancy brand coffee shop rather than how they are known in Canada as sorta the next door neighbor coffee shop. Gotta recoup that money somehow lol. Dude! We have some hotteok in the freezer from the local asian store we still need to eat. We haven't tried whatever brand it is, but hopefully it's as good as yours!
I'm very lucky to live in Los Angeles where we can get almost any Korean street food you can think of in a frozen or pre-made version at our local H-Marts. They're surprisingly good! Like you guys said, sometimes even better then getting them from outside. My favorite is always 김말이 though.
You both could write and produce a movie remake of the famous American TV series from the 1960s. The Avengers | Sara could be Emma Peel. and Kyho could be the elusive Korean art thief... ♥️♥️😊
Here in Minnesota we use to have Tim Hortons but he left us. We have Frozen Korean street food here and it tastes good to me. But I've never tried authentic Korean street food so I can't say if they're the same. Lol. Hoping one day Hmart will come to Minnesota! Wonderful video as usual!
Everything you shared in the video today I have actually seen in markets here in the US! Even CostCo is carrying these things, and places like Trader Joe's. I would say in comparison to what I have tried at Korean restaurants, it's pretty comparable, but always better from the source!
We get the gimmari and tteokbokki packs in Australia! But I'm going to keep a look out for the fish shaped buns and see if I can find readymade hotteok too!
I tried every hotteok stand I encountered when I was studying in Seoul, and the best one for me is the from the stand on one of the side exits of Namguro market. The dough was greenish (I don't know why, maybe matcha?) And the filling to dough ratio was perfect, the nuts/seeds to sugar ratio of the filling was also perfect for me.
We can buy all of these street foods at our Korean grocery store in Melbourne, Australia. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Last night we made 어묵, already skewered, and used the 멸치국 물팩 for the soup stock. My kids said the fish cake tasted exactly the same as the Seoul street food vendor’s and our house smelt like Seoul.
I bought premade hotteok and teobokki a few weeks ago at a small Asian market in Indiana, USA! I’ve only ever made teobokki myself before and it was my first time trying hotteok! It was all so good 😋
Merry Christmas guys! I live in Australia and we definitely have them here! Gimmari, hotteok (box mix type, fun to make ourselves), bunggeopang and also the walnut shaped ones you get at the highway rest stops!? Delicious!
I have followed you guys for years now and when Kyuho said he was team Jacob, my heart just broke LOL. Say it aint so Kyu!!!! Maybe his opinion will change by the end of the movies #nospoilers.
Some of our scouts went to the World Scout Jamboree in Korea this summer. When we got back, we ran a night at our scouts with lots of Korean street foods. Our local Korean supermarket (Manchester, UK) is packed full of shelf-stable and frozen goodness. We have added lots of Korean inspired items to our camp menu’s including Bulgogi, BBQ and street food items. Agree that making your own red pepper sauce is best, otherwise it’s too spicy for the scouts 🫡⚜️ (thanks for sharing your videos - I follow on my personal account)

It IS so soft and comfy 🥹 We bought it at Winners last summer while we were in Canada, and SO glad we did.
Yes, I’ve tried the rice cakes in the ted sauce with fishcakes. Delicious!!! A flea market in our area that’s been around for ahes now has in their indoor shopping booths a fast food Korean restaurant. Sooo glad I tried it, its delicious!!!!
Such a solid combo 🤤
Love love Korean food too!!!
Merry Christmas guys!!!! 🎅🏻 🧑🏻🎄
12:29 oh what were you watching there? It looks like a cute beginning to a Christmas movie.
Sarah and Kyuho, I'm glad to see you doing better than past weeks. Just remember that you are loved and supported through good times and rough times. I hope that you and your family have a wonderful Christmas. Stay warm!🥰🥰
Thank you so much 🥺 That really means a lot ❤
I live near LA area and some of the Korean markets make fresh bungeoppang. They have different fillings also. It's so good.
Apologies if Ive missed it but cn you put the recipes here? Two of my fav street foods! Id LOVE to make them at home xx
Added the link to Kyuho’s ddeokbokki recipe in the description box :)
So relaxing watching you both ,here from uk x
Now to actually taste a few things on the menu 🤔
@@2hearts1seoul curious to see what y'all think!
@@2hearts1seoul those ice capps and maple dip gotta hit just right! 🤌🏻
They have those products now in Toronto. We have Hmart in Toronto but Galleria is the bigger Korean supermarket chain here.
I really wanna make tteokbokki but it's so hard to find eomuk near me and that's my favourite part D:
Woahhh, we will have to look for pre-made jeon (pancakes) here and see what they’ve got…didn’t even think of that!
In the US: Trader Joe's has hotteok. 4 frozen. They are dangerous. They also have tteokbokki. I haven't tried it yet.
I’m hungry now that I’ve watch you guys eating that yummy 😋 food
I live in Australia so now I need to go to local Korean store and see if I can find your suggestions.
Will let you know.
Yes we have these Korean streetfood snacks available in Asian supermarkets in Paris, it’s so convenient nowadays☺️
Kyuho’s ddeokbokki recipe in case anyone wants to give it a go: ruclips.net/video/EjgHGEVD92A/видео.htmlsi=dVK50_Hq6zf5S0TH
Watched this while eating kimchi ramen... and... I'm sooooo jealous! We have an Asian grocery near us that is pretty extensive. I've bought the prepackaged tteokbokki, and it IS spicy. I added a little brown sugar and that calmed it down a little bit.
Oohhh! Never thought of doing that!
Perfect occasion to ask if anybody else ever noticed that Sarah's voice and Kristen Stewart's sound so similar 😅❤
I’ve heard this so many times 😂
Watching this on this gloomy Manila morning make me crave. I've had that kimmari one here and it's so tasty. Got it from our friendly neighborhood Korean mart 😅
I love your videos as always. ❤
I just ordered the skincare box. I just loved the products from March this year so much and i hope the new products from this december box as equally as good.😊
Keep up the good work watch the videos is my sunday evening treat.❤
Happy Holidays to you!
Hi Sarah! Hi Kyuho!
Omg, you have no shortage at all when it comes to Korean street food (or food in general) options in your area! 😁
Amazing video! Really enjoy watching your vids :)
Thank you! So glad you enjoy them 🥰
You can hear from 9:02 probably Kyuho's belly growling. He was hungry haha
Hi, yummy 😋 all of it, like how Beemo was looking 😸. Take care 😊...
Agree that the frozen hoddeok are just as tasty! We were skeptical and first, but WOW 🙌
Beemo is so damn cuteee 🥺@6:47 giving us all a hug haha 🥰
I can’t wait to go to a Korean market now, I need to search one 😊
I've seen the frozen hotteok in hmart and tteokbokki kits on amazon
I love hotteok!! Trader Joes carries some last year, and i swear i bought them out, otherwise i go to H Mart. They are great in the air fryer
Ooohhh! Glad to know you can get them too! We want to try them in the air fryer next time!
We got the Coupang brand of hotteok called ‘Gom Gom’, and they’re fantasticccc🙌
I love making Tteokbokki and Dakgangjeong at home. I miss 'Kyuho's Ugly Kitchen' episodes!!
Wishing you both a blessed Merry Christmas 🎄…
Pay no mind to the haters. Love the vlogs. Need Kyuho’s tteokbokki recipe!
Yes! The ones we got are the veggie kimmari, and depending on how you make your tteokbokki (minus the fish cakes) you can pull off a vegan recipe :)
Hi, we are starting to see these street food now in Korean / Asian stores in Cape Town, South Africa...
Ooooh! Good to know it’s expanding all over!
As a Canadian, I feel like it's your duty to do a proper Tim's video once the hype cools down. 😂
Outside of Canada, I've only been to Tim's in the UK - both Scotland and England.
Back to regular content ❤❤❤❤
Hi! I live in Seattle, WA and I’ve been going to Hmart to buy these food for years! They satisfy my craving until I can go to Korea one day haha
I live in Taiwan and I can find hotteok mix in larger supermarket. Tried it once and loved it (although it was a bit messy 😂)
It’s definitely messy, but worth it! 😂
Hi hi. I just subscribed to your two. You two are so sweet!! The snacks treats I find them at my local Costco but that's pretty much it. ❤❤❤
Thank you and welcome 🥰
love you guys
The Korean market near our house (in Saskatoon) has had frozen Hotteok for a few years with lots of different fillings. They aren't quite the same as the real thing but they are still quite tasty!
The international Timmies are ALWAYS fancier than the ones back home in Canada. 😂
Meanwhile in Canada so many locations look like they havent been renovated since the late 90s 😅
Woah, nice!! So glad to hear the options are expanding internationally as well :)
We get the gimmari and tteokbokki packs in Australia! But I'm going to keep a look out for the fish shaped buns and see if I can find readymade hotteok too!
Hopefully those items make their way over there soon!
Omggg, thank you for the advice! Will definitely try these sometime!
We can buy all of these street foods at our Korean grocery store in Melbourne, Australia. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Last night we made 어묵, already skewered, and used the 멸치국 물팩 for the soup stock. My kids said the fish cake tasted exactly the same as the Seoul street food vendor’s and our house smelt like Seoul.
Woahh, nice!! That’s great you can satisfy your Korean street food cravings any time 😁
I bought premade hotteok and teobokki a few weeks ago at a small Asian market in Indiana, USA! I’ve only ever made teobokki myself before and it was my first time trying hotteok! It was all so good 😋
The street food I miss is the hot walnut cake hodugwaja they sell in bags in Seoul 😢
Yessss, the white bean filled ones are my favorite 🥹
Merry Christmas guys! I live in Australia and we definitely have them here! Gimmari, hotteok (box mix type, fun to make ourselves), bunggeopang and also the walnut shaped ones you get at the highway rest stops!? Delicious!
I have followed you guys for years now and when Kyuho said he was team Jacob, my heart just broke LOL. Say it aint so Kyu!!!! Maybe his opinion will change by the end of the movies #nospoilers.
Hahahah 😂 Well, we finished the entire series and he’s still firmly on Team Jacob, so he’s loyal!
Hands down, my favorite street food is hotteok. All that delicious goodness going down your throat. Hmmm...wish I was back in Korea.
