- How to remove the rear split-fold seats, rear interior trim and B-Pillar trims, and upgrade the rear factory speakers on a Corsa D 3-door, for models 2006 - 2014.
Part 2 is how to sound deaden the interior and reinstallation of the trims and seat.
I just did this with help of my brother on about 2,5 hours with this video as instruction, thanks a lot!!!
The person who decided on the final interior design that this had to be done to change a speaker needs to slap himself
Right? I've bought new speakers over a year ago. Saw this video and couldn't be bothered. Now I had a little time and searched the video again but I forgot just how involved it is. It's ridiculous. What do you expect from a car that needs to have the front bumper removed to change a lightbulb?
hahaha finally doing it XD
@@durragas4671front bumper removed to change a light bulb? huh?
@@RWilmot03When you don't know how the bulb is held, yeah it's better to just take everything off but when you learn how it's held, you only need a small flathead screwdriver to push one of the pins that hold it and it pops out. For those wondering, the bulb is held on both sides by pins you have to push one of them to the side to take it out. That's for the low beams, not sure about high beams.
@@DKSON1337 What? You just pull it out... I dont understand.
This is a fantastic video! Just what I needed as I am going to attempt this, this weekend.
Thank you could not find a video on fitting rear speakers anywhere.
Thanks for this going to use that speaker hole to push a dent out 🔥
Thanks fam! Been looking for this video!
Thank you very helpful. I have a 64 plate limited edition 1.2 and it never had any rear speakers. This car did not have speaker wires so i fitted new wires from the wires at back of radio. It tells you which wires are what with the diagram on top of the radio.
Yeh but how does the trim come off like how do you un clip the clips
So did the plastic covers came in place and everything was fine? Because i am planning to change the old ones with new ones. 6.5inc for the back and i am not sure about the size. Thanks in advance.
No mention of how you got the seat belt through it?
We need part 2...
hey man where is part two
Helps a lot thanks 👍🏻👌🏻💪🏻
Does radio have enough power to run these bigger speakers? Isn't maximum volume lower after changing your speakers? I have same radio (cd30) on my Opc and i have to put new rear speakers due to The fact my right speaker is damaged. Thanks for Your answer!
Misiolusio MotoVlog mate doesn’t appear to make any noticeable difference. Honestly for a factory system, upgrading the speakers has made a huge difference - slightly larger speakers will run just fine
what size speakers are in the back cheers
Would I beable to change my rear speakers if I just rip the cover off instead of doing all this
Maybe, but it might be quite limited access to remove the OEM speakers, and install the new ones on their brackets. And the speaker covers are part of the whole panel, so you'd have to cut them out with a jigsaw or something. I'd go for following the video, plus you get to learn about your car a bit more too.
I just found speaker cables in my car and was wondering what they did
when is part 2 coming?
I guess we have to watch it in reverse I guess for reinstallation of seats
video pt2?
Do the rear seats need to be taken out in order to remove the rear plastics? I have just bought front a rear speakers to fit, front door cards seem simple enough to take off but the tears seem a bit of a pain in your video
Jamie Johnston hey mate - unfortunately to get the trim cover off where the rear speakers are, the rear seat has to come out - it’s not a hard job, just a little fiddly
@@mightycarthrottle20 I'll get the fronts sorted then first before looking into the rears haha, great video by the well appreciate it being available
I lost one of the seatbelt clips that fell down and the metal clip doesnt work anymore so I cant clip it back it. The holder just hangs from the top. I'm so pissed off
Liam Evans oh that’s crap >_> some of mine got bent out of shape - I just used pliers to reshape them. You might be able get new clips to replace the lost ones from an auto store or dealer
@@mightycarthrottle20 yeah man hopefully. I'm getting a full audio install next week and they said they will have a look at it. I got half way and stopped because I didnt really know what I was doing 😂 cant find anything like the clips online. Just have to wait and see
Liam Evans haha damn.... maybe my instructional vid was just crap 😂
Nah I did the same Like How tf are you ment to get it off
need a part 2 asap pls
Hey dude might be a bit - what do you need help with?
@@mightycarthrottle20 I'm also interested in the 2nd part of the video.Do you have a link for the matching adapter rings for the speakers?
@@mightycarthrottle20 4 years later and still no part 2 😭
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe .....
Mmmm nice video but noooo
I don't want to take whole car apart.
I'm gonna cut the cables and put two speakers 6x9 behind...
Thank for convincing me not to do this job 😂
Forget a couple of steps mate
Seems a massive mess on to locate a speaker. I would rather change my car.
