Can't believe after all those years of watching you building and expanding a bunker it's almost finished.😮
Hope you have enough ground left to come up with some new schemes.
Love what you do Furze! Keep on going!💪🏻❤️
Colin just so you're aware there are now AI tools which can descramble mosaic tile censorship in video, so if you want to keep your number plate hidden (you missed a bit at 35:45, by the way) you should just put a solid rectangle over what you want to obscure.
There's a clearer shot unblurred at 35:03, you can straight up read the entire plate, there isn't even any obfuscation. The overall-average-color-matched rectangle is a personal favorite of mine, totally hides this stuff even from AI, while less unsightly than just a black rectangle.
Ive hit a bit of a low, literally woke up this am pretty low. Then you upload, and my mood is instantly improved. Thanks Fuzzy. I should also add. It was me that said every time i hear chris bibby i think of black betty so seeing you do that, literally made my week!!!!!
Colin, it's has been a long time since I started watching, you were just doing those fun/silly little projects while learning more about fabrication. Then you started making bigger and more complex (and some might rightly call them "crazy") projects... then you decided you needed a bunker with a house attached...
The progress over the years really shows how you can go from simple one-off builds to eventually not only conceptualizing, but completing, something that is not only insane (and come on, we have to admit that this thing is mad-lad levels of bonkers) but entertains while educating. Yes, you've been fortunate in attracting an audience (and sponsors), but it was done with a huge amount of dedication and hard work, and just proves, "fortunes" really do favor the brave.
Excellent work sir, and huge love from across the pond to you, your family (for supporting you in your insanity), and the team you've collected. And I do mean collected, because this level of madness could only be supported by others with the tendency toward the same level of madness lol
Well done sir, well done indeed!
Colin, you are an absolute ANIMAL !!!!!
Keep up the great work sir 💪
The garage is shaping up and looking fantastic.
Much love from Washington State 🤘🤘
I can only imagine the joy you must have felt driving on this part of the garage! Brilliant! And no movement at all in the steel-concrete-ceiling, what a triumph!
Keep it up, Colin! Very much looking forward to seeing this project in its full glory!
Arches are one of the strongest load supports plus all that engineered rebar\steel and the concrete on it makes it incredibly strong. It's crazy that a bunch of parts & pieces of steel can be so strong to carry all the weight of the concrete alone not including the vehicle
I've been following this project from it's beginning and following you for over a decade
Collin you haven't changed a bit , the same energy and same great work
Thank you for entertaining us
Not only has this series been entertaining, it's also been hugely educational for me about how much goes into construction like this. It gives me a lot more respect for people who do this for a living, from the engineers who figure out how it'll work safely to the people who actually build the things.
Respect to Irish Jay too, great supporting work on this project 🏗️
Love this project, you can see the light at the end of the tunnel now, it’s looking great!
Colin, WOW ... What a colossal endeavor you have completed so far. How much you have hand dug w/ your friend , how much steel you have cut, molded, fit, and welded.... It just blows my mind. Keep on Keepin' on I know you will succeed , just the amount of dirt you have moved By Hand is truely amazing.
Many Blessings , SMR
The INSANE amount of work and planning to pull something like this off is crazy, I dont think people realize just how difficult this is, MAJOR props to you Colin!! Love your content
One of your best videos to date! Not just the building work, but also the editing, voice over, sound mix and especially the music are top notch! RUclips royalty 👑
Tony Hawk Pro Skater soundtrack vibes
Furze videos have been blowing my mind for YEARSSS
wow colin near to finishing this little BIG project iv watched you for years and i love this channel and that tune i keep bloody singing it thanks colin
37:00 i just thought the same like the first video i ever saw from u was "Underground Beach Hut Build" which i dont even know why it popped up on my fyp and like that was like 2-3 years ago and to see that whole process of you build a whole underground city and popping up on my fyp every 3-6 months and going silent after ... crazy
Bro same! The first thing I ever saw of his was the 3 story underground beach hut and I've been hooked ever since!
I full heartedly agree! This is one time I am very thankful for the fyp!
I have been struggling this week fitting a pocket hole door. This puts things into context really.
Need a bigger hammer! BFH! ⚒️
The commitment is absolutely crazy, so glad to be able to follow the progress of such an ambitious project!
" He's a Volumetric kinda man" has got to be the best lyrics in a song ever!!!!
Felt compelled to say this. My day job, i work for a company the has concrete accessories and others goodies. Rebar, mesh, karbon bar, tie wire and the sorts one needs for a pour, minus the concrete itself. We also have stains, etching chemicals and stuff needed for finishing, power trowels, floats and even expansion joint stuff. We even have rebar chairs (like the ones you used, the lil fellas that are holding the bar up). And, last but not least, LOTS of actual rebar! From the small #3-60, all the way to #8-60 grade bar. We also have The karbon bar, im unsure of its grade, as im still learning a lot (just over a month there, woohoo!) And im loving every minute of it, even on the rougher days. I deliver to our customers, and enjoy the driving and learning aspects of the job, very, very much. Hearing you talk about the rebar, made me chuckle, as i grew up with my dad building playgrounds, and various other construction tasks. Even helped him build a shed when i was like, 6 (handing him tools, holding tapes n such) And this honestly reminded me of childhood. Was a very well done video Colin! Keep up the awesome work, looking forward to the next updates!!
Massive project since day ONE of the bunker, i have followed you way before you had this project in mind. I knew you were already a genius after all those inventions. After that I've always been anxiously waiting for new videos, you showed nothing its impossible. Massive respect for you and of course for Rick, a real BROTHER. Thank you for sharing everything.
Absolutely nutty project! So fun to follow along over all of this time. Would love to see an interview with the neighbors and their thoughts on the project.
Your Chris Bibby song made me laugh and then cry…it was like a goodbye to an old friend and also a hello to a new beginning! Well done mate, your project is epic; RESPECT!
What an insane journey. This does feel like a huge milestone. Being able to actually park on your driveway without a plate, no more exiting your front door and wondering if the floor will be there, AND you put a picket fence up. Keep it up.
Also, Rick deserves so much for all the work he's put in.
He doesn't live there anymore sadly, hasn't for some time
@@stuey7777 what do you mean? Colin and his family have moved out?
Colin, I've watched this project from the start. I can only imagine how difficult this was to pull off! But you pulled off what a lot of us only dream about as kids, and you (and your family) get to live in it. Maybe one day more of us can be like you and achieve those "small" but genuinely fun dreams in our own lives. You inspire!
Pull off.... 😆
There's not many people who inspire me these days but you're one of them. Keep being you. 🤟
I must say that the worst part about watching these videos that come out so far apart (for obvious reasons) is checking the time scroll at the bottom and realizing there are only 10 minutes left, then 7, then 3. I wish it would keep going and I could watch more progress. Alas! Each one MUST come to an end and we wait for the next. Great job Mr. Furze. A true inspiration.
Yeah I wish they were a bit longer - say an hour+ and closer together too
if you havent watched it yet, furze has a secondary channel that's got hours of these build vids to watch
You are an addictive entertaining lunatic. Absolutely amazing
Now there's a bit of Furze merch that needs to see the light of day, the "i've been violated by rebar" t-shirt.
Just as long as those green caps have flared bases…..😂 (calling @emtbadge502)
Beautiful rebar. Honestly kind of satisfying to watch. You are really cool for building all this. Looks fantastic. 🙃
15:55 you’ve got to be proud of your rebar, from all that jumble of metal to a perfect framework, 👏 well done.
Colin, you are an absolute credit to your country. I’ve said this before, and I’ll say it again: you deserve a knighthood for your outstanding contributions to engineering and to everything that is good in the UK.
thats a great shout
What an amazing Furzeday! Só nice to see the project reaching the ends! Fantástico work!!!!
Absolutely and utterly amazing to follow this for such a long time. I just love the fact you don’t do weekly updates it makes it so much more enjoyable. Also you’re probably the only content creator who I actually watch the sponsored part with because I know it makes a difference.
I have to say Colin, you have the best soundtrack on all of youtube, and it’s been that way for years! Cheers!
