Fair point - The characters were dumb but in such a tense scenario, I can forgive it because a lot of people would panic and make equally stupid decisions. Yes, it is a stupid shark movie but I had enough fun with it that I wasn't disappointed. Maybe one day we'll finally get another smart shark flick but right now, doesn't look like it.
