Simple example of voltage and current are, if you take a one metre wire, the lenght is voltage and its thickness is current,if you fold the wire to its half metre voltage will be reduced to half, but current will be doubled.

I think if water coming out of tap is current, the tap control is resistance but not voltage because tap control is not giving pressure. Voltage can be compared with the pressure that is caused due to tap's position with respect to water tank.

Explain the concept is very good.. small correction in your example Tap is not a source It is acts like a Resistor 🙏🏼🙏🏼 based on the resistance the flow of electrons will depend.. Voltage means potential difference. U can give Waterfalls is an example of Voltage..not Tap 🙏🏼
