This is the kind of video people don’t make and is so helpful for a soon-to-be first-time cruiser like me. Sharing this with my family who will be sailing with me. Thanks!
This was really cool to see. We’ve only ever done laundry I think on our first or second cruise and they did not have that automated system with the credits. Was neat to see how the process has changed. I wasn’t even aware that it had!
Tiny machines are nice when it is just a few things that need to be washed/dried! Taking a small pod of detergent in a zip bag and dryer sheets! Excellent. I like to pack light but dont want soiled clothes.
We always do laundry or should I say my stepdad does it for us. It looks easy to do!!! We do laundry on every trip so we don’t come back with too much laundry, it helps!!!
I’ve never done laundry on board since I’ve only been on a 3 night cruise and a 7 night cruise and totally overpacked 😂 I could see how it would be nice on the 14 nights cruises to save on luggage space and for the dirty/stinky clothes. Those loads do look tiny! It’s too bad that it didn’t work for you guys but I’m glad you showed that so everyone can see that it’s not always seamless. Good to know that it just automatically goes back to your card if the tokens aren’t used. Thanks!
So happy you found this helpful! I always overpack, and it's usually on purpose. I've traveled enough to know that sometimes things happen (mud and food stains being the least concerning of them) and sometimes those clothing items can't come home with you. So I generally overpack because it makes me feel more comfortable. Like having a second parachute! I admire people who don't overpack, but I'll probably never be one of them.
That sort of depends on the cruise. If I was going on a 7-night I could probably get away with 4 days of clothes. But I would prefer to wear more than 4 shirts on a 14-night sailing. Of course, that's personal preference. 🤷♀️

Super helpful information! As someone who loves to wear her jeans but only has 1 pair, it's good to know I can clean them that easily.
Very informative! I'm going to utilize this on our next cruise so we're not driving home with gross bathing suits lol
Thank you! Very helpful video and well explained! Much appreciated!

Very true!

I never have done laundry on the DCL but if I have a cruise like yours for more than 10 days I would definitely do laundry, TFS. 👍
Very useful! Thanks!
I’m so glad you think so!
@@AuburnHuhmann We just did laundry on the Wonder last week. This really helped.
Who’s Leo?
And less clothes to pack!
