I can totally understand both Yena and Jong Kook's viewpoint. There are some things that serve no real purpose in my life but I just have no self control over. I see them, I will buy them immediately. But on the rare occasion when I can stop myself from spending, I will feel happy and glad I managed to save some money...for my next big purchase.
Yena is an otaku bestie too lol 😅 They even know to add THAT memorable song from Cyberpunk Edgerunner 😢. Hope that @CDPROJECTRED see this and help by reimbursing her lol 😂
She is so relatable. I play so many gacha games and love buying plushies, manga, comics, K-pop albums, and figurines. If I went to a store like that, I wouldn't be able to control myself lol
As someone addicted with collecting pc and addicted to draw. All these place they go probably gonna be a hell for my wallet if I ever go 😮💨 especially with this bad luck? You probably saw me sitting there draw it till I get what I want 🙃
I'm freaking out seeing her buying these things... And the men is right this all marketing strategies.... Why spending so much money on these random things.... Still if it's making her happy then it's fine I think....
I just now that yena is a such a weeb, it is so cute 😭❤️ she fits perfectly to her solo career aesthetic. And it is so funny they the kpop idol career is basically funded by fans that buy multiple album to get a random draw photocard, and she is spending those money for an anime gacha 🤣
I can understand both Yena and Jongkook. When I was in elementary school, I used to love collecting photocards and goods of my favourite anime, including the gacha toys, and in high school I would collect photo albums and posters of my favourite idols/actors. But after becoming an adult I realized that I just enjoyed the action of obtaining the items but I never really looked at them after I bought them and realized they were just a waste of space and money and naturally stopped. But I understand the rush of dopamine and desire to impulsively buy. Lol, I remember I went to a BTS concert with my friend and after the concert there were a few people selling goods outside and because I was still high from the concert I almost bought a $150+ framed picture. My friend literally had to drag me away but after I calmed down and got home (it was a 3 hr drive) I came back to my senses and thanked my friend for stopping me. Sometimes I still buy my fav's cd's or dvd's to support them but I usually just purchase the electronic version to save myself the additional shipping fee and be environmentally conscious since my laptop doesn't even have a cd/dvd player anymore so I won't be able to use it anyways. It pains me when I see pictures of people buying 100s of cds just for the photocards/to get in fan signs and end up throwing out boxes full of cds in the garbage. Like Jongkook said, if there's a picture I like, I just save it to my phone and look at it like that now. Then I can use the saved money for life's essentials or for attending concerts.
23:02 as she said, she only spend on the things she like and it is a rational thing to spend like that. Fun fact, not all things that we like, give benefits to us. Money should be spend wisely thinking that the money will be more useful when you older.
you should invite choi hyunsk from treasure he is a big spender . He is a true maximalist , he collects jerseys , figure , clothes , art , legos and so on .
Why do I think her friend is kind of 'bad friend'? Make her spend lots of money on something like that. For me, good friend support your hobby but know the limit.
that's just a friend who has the same hobby as you. me and my friends are like this, always say yes if the other asks 'should I' while showing the item we want bc we know the regret of not buying it is bigger
But i think this spending is not so much for a kpop idol, if she do not spend money for luxurious clothing or bag. It is obviously wayyyy cheaper than buying a LV or gucci bag
This is basically just Gambling. Putting in your bets $$$$ to see if you win the “Prize” you want. Similar to casinos, of course it is addictive. Gamblers love to try their luck.
definition of girl math when she goes.. ill skip coffee today. haha. me when i see harry potter stuff. like i do consider like.. im gonna buy if its two digit n certain certain amount.....
I'm guessing the entire concept of this new show is about being frugal or something? It's not like spending 200$ on a hobby is such an insane thing given how rich most the people there are including Yena 😂
that depends person to person. from my experience, everyone spent their money "wisely and have meaning", it's just the meaning part differ from person to person. if you don't regret buying it even after some time has passes, I would say that money well spent. just don't be the person who keep mentioning about money on especially special occasions because imo it really brings down the mood to your surroundings. I have this one friend who don't eat at a restaurant on our vacation because he thought the price was too expensive, even though I was gonna pay for him anyway. for info, the price was standard price at any good restaurant in our city + the excellent lake view at a vacation place.
The key is that you decide yourself what has meaning. You don’t decide for others. I have a feeling this isn’t making a massive dent in Yena’s income anyway. I have the disposable income to buy this much and I probably make a small fraction of what Yena does.
gatcha's imho are dumb.... i cant understand why u want these worthless stuff... granted i spend alot on uneeded fishing stuff but i might buy 1 pack of plastic baits and maybe a hard bait to try to see if it catches a fish or not... then go back to buy... even i might try out a new rod/reel combo... or i buy clothes on sale even after a year they still have the tags on em... but these gatcha pulls are hella stupid! sorry for the commenters who disagree otherwise... but im also not counting toilet paper squares or wet wipes like KJK
Of course you can’t understand spending money on something you’re not interested in. I would rather spend money on this than fishing any day. Everyone has different interests.
@@dlwlyena i mainly catch and release... i fish for sport... its fun to catch fish n figure them out given the different conditions. they can be on a different pattern everyday besides i do buy fish but the fish that is farm raised arent as tastey do u understand?
we have to buy yena’s album to support her gacha career
so cute haha

Yena became a k-pop idol to fund her gacha spending 😂

저는 솔직하게 개인적으로 이프로그램의 취지를 모르겠음 종국님도 사실거 다사시면서 이런프로그램을 한다는게 이해가 되지는 않네요 그냥 제개인적인 생각임
so basically yena is a gambling addict.. LMAO
