Jess sweetheart please get a stepping stone for your new birdbath. That terracotta dish isn't stable enough for a base. Plus you had to put rocks under it and they will move over time if theirs a lot of rain. You're gully gets more beautiful everyday. 🌹🤗🌹💓💕💞
I think you are making a mistake with your Terra cotta base. It’s not firm or solid and when it breaks, your new 40% off bird bath will fall over and could break or crack. Save yourself from a little heart ache and just dig out the dirt and make a level spot with a sturdy solid stepping stone if you still feel the need to set it on something.

Jes, get a paver to place the bird bath on. Also look for a solar powered dropper or small fountain to put in the bath. Just a suggestion 😊❤❤
