I still remember the great navigational issues I had here back in the days of 2010. On a more positive note, I love the pace and serenity of these tracks.
Only remember tribute runs and the fact this area had a silithid colony somewhere which used to be full of elites if I recall correctly. Didn't even realize cata redid the music for this zone, sounds nice ^^
This location was intresting because Horde players had a ogre allies here and could do quests here, dont now anything about Alliance quests before Cata. And after Cataclysm there is intresting questline about Cho'Ghall
Feralas was horrible for alliance. Basically that whole level range was horrible for Alliance because there were hardly any quests anywhere or they were questlines that chased you all over the world. It was better to just grind until you hit around 48 to 50 if I remember correctly.

Yeah many Cataclysm tracks were quite serene. I find the music in the game today to be less nuanced or beautifully serene, it's more 'in your face'.

At about 10:20 it somehow cuts off randomly, out of nowhere.
Opposing to Mountain soundtrack, I like more Cataclysm version of this soundtack than original.
