- Need a classic car? Ted Vernon is the man to see. The no-nonsense, gregarious Long Islander runs Florida's largest classic car dealership, where he buys, sells, trades, and exchanges unique cars from a lot that houses more than 300 of them.
In this full-length episode, Ted is absolutely livid! One of his favorite cars has been completely destroyed, and he is pulling out all the stops to try and salvage it.

He just moved to Kissimmee florida for the new year, word is he will be opening up a dealership there to be closer to the car shows. He sold off all this you saw in this episode, fun fact, that warehouse where the packard is held towards the end was teds auxiliary hold for his cars, i was his mechanic for years right before this and actually lived in that warehouse in an apartment that was made in there, thats what those doors lead to in the background. I was instrumental in helping in his move from 79st and biscayne to 441 off of i95. It was a dream job for a hotrodder in his mid 20’s, had tons of fun, worked for him all day, and street raced almost every night, had my bachelor pad in a warehouse full of cool ass hotrods, id be up until the am blasting metal and working on my car for the next race, rent free cause i was free security, really fun times.
Wow cool history buddy. His lot is in lake Wales FL where I've lived 17yrs and just met Ted today after walking the lot and meeting his employees. Had a great time with his no pushy knowledgeable,courteous staff.

All over RUclips, you see classic cars wrecked because people are so used to newer cars going fast and stopping on a dime. Then they try to do the same thing with an old classic, which is heavier and doesn't have the same quick controllability or stopping power and they end up crashing the classic car. My heart sank a little when I saw a classic Packard with its nose punched in. I love Studebakers, Packards, Jaguars, Bentleys, and 1967 Olds Toronados. I just subscribed and thumbs up.
