@@its_bigbklyn I went up to 65. There was only a short part of the route that I could get up to speed. Bad planning on my part. That has been corrected and I think you'll find my recent videos more informative. Thanks for checking it out.
I pass Crockett every day on my way to work, I work at marshal Mize ford as a painter. I’ve been wanting an Indian scout bobber for some time now and been watching videos like crazy! Thought it was cool to see one from somebody local to me! Great stuff man!
I love the folks at Crockett. Good people. You should stop in and talk with them. They'll definitely work with you. And that Bobber is sick!!! I had every intention of buying that bike but fell in love with another. Best of luck brother and thanks for watching.
Be very careful. You might leave with a new motorcycle. Lol. In all seriousness, Cayce and the gang are some of the best people you'll ever meet. Thanks for the comment.
I have the 2020 it’s a beautiful balanced bike The must do’s are, Exhaust upgrade Air intake upgrade Dyno tune Also Change the gear ratio for a bit more top end Mine was struggling to hit 160 to 170 Now she’ll cruise beautifully doing 140 at 2500 rpm with plenty of room to open up
I am looking for a bike for a road trip through Spain & Portugal , I really like the scout & the new Enfield interceptor but we keep coming back to the same issue - seats , I guess there must be alternative seats , I will test ride both & make a decision . Good video guys , man that bike is too quiet though : )
There are some good seats out there. Mustang and Corbin are the two that stand out IMO. Also, you're all over it. It's way too quiet with the stock exhaust. Thanks for checking us out. Ride Safe!
I have a honda rebel 500 but want something with alittle more power, i am looking to upgrade to the indian scout bobber . Do you think this a great upgrade? Btw keep up the good work
I think this would be a great upgrade for you. I can see where you would want more power and you won't be disappointed with the Scout Bobber. She still has plenty of power left over after you've hit 75-80 mph. I can't say the same for the Scout 60. This is a smooth bike all around brother. I always tell people to start off on a Rebel 500, or similar bike, and then go for this beast. Go get this bike!! Just a warning, expect a lot of compliments!! lol. I appreciate the kind words.
Dude, I've got a question: I want to buy that bike, but I am 180 cm tall, and seeing you with the bike behind, it makes me wonder...are you a giant (like 2m height) or is the bobber super low? Cheers.
Haha. Nah man. I'm 5ft 11in so around 182 cm I guess. The Bobber sits low so it looks like I tower over the bike. It'll be a perfect fit for someone your size. Looks friggin cool too!! Thanks for checking it out.
You can. If you're riding with mid controls now it might feel like you're a little stretched out. This bike has forward controls. Go sit on one and see what you think. You can always change out the handlebars to make it more comfortable. Also, I think you can change the controls to mid. It would be more money but something you can look at.
It depends on your skill level. How much experience do you have on a motorcycle? If you're relatively new to riding I would suggest the Honda Rebel 300 or Rebel 500. You'll most likely drop your bike in the beginning. Kickstand not locked in, losing balance on slow speed maneuvers, etc. With a smaller/cheaper bike you won't feel as bad if this happens. Hopefully, you won't have to worry about that. Ride it for 6 months to a year and then go for the Bobber. That being said, I think the Bobber is forgiving enough to be a first bike if you think you can handle it. I just wouldn't suggest it for a newbie. Thanks for watching!!
I thought 2020 Bobber had Indian head logo on tank not just name Indian like previous years and the wire wheels for 2020 as well and chrome pipes stock even spring saddle stock? At least the couple 2020's I have seen do, this looks just like previous years, whats up?
The model you're talking about is the Bobber 20. It's a different version of the standard Bobber. BTW, I love the look of it. Indian did a great job with that motorcycle.
Hey y’all, I’m currently wanting to get into the bike life. I was thinking if i go brand new I would go indian, or get a used harley or new 883. Which route should i go? Which bike is a good starter bike? I usto race dirtbikes back in the day so not entirely new to it.
Usually, I would suggest a Honda 500 for someone who is brand new to the motorcycle world. You are obviously not brand new to motorcycles. The Indian will have more power and is a "thicker" bike. I love Indian motorcycles but I think a 883 would be great for you. The 883 is easy to handle and has enough power to keep you entertained until you are ready for an upgrade. Plus, you'll have more aftermarket parts to choose from. However, I strongly suggest you test ride these motorcycles to see which you are most comfortable on. Best of luck brother. Let us know what you go with.
little late but im 5'6 and sat on the bike a lot looking for my first bike, waaaaaaaay tooo stretched out. brother whos 5'8 was as well. In the end i got a Harley Davidson Sportster iron 1200. The riding triangle is perfect for my height
A new seat would help. I've rode a Bobber with a tractor seat and it was very comfortable. That bike also had mini apes so that helped with the overall comfort of the motorcycle. It really depends on the individual. Some ride their Bobbers to Daytona from Tennessee and they love it. I'd say they are the exception to the rule. For my comfort, changing the seat would be the first thing I'd do but I'm a bigger guy. Go test ride the Bobber and you'll get a feel for what you may or may not need to change on the bike.
Not too bad. If you stick with the factory handlebars you won't have as much wind. If you go to mini apes you'll have a bit more but still a good ride.
Are they referring to the Bobber Scout 60? The Indian Scout Bobber 60 has 5 gears. The Indian Scout Bobber has 6 gears. The Bobber 60 was a new model that Indian introduced in 2020. It essentially has the guts of an Indian Scout Sixty with a Bobber frame. Hope that helps. Thanks for checking out the channel. Ride safe!
@@NoogaCowboy ah that's probably what it was. I just read that the Scout and the 60 have the same gear ratio so to me, the 6th gear is kinda pointless...right?
That all depends on your comfort level. IMO, The forward controls on the Bobber will allow more comfort than mid controls would allow. You can fit on the bike so I think you'll enjoy it. Take it for a test ride to see how you like it. Remember, there are mods that will help your comfort level if you're just dead set on getting this bike. I promise an Indian dealer would love to sell you some. Haha.
@@anxiousseal556Depends on what you're familiar with. You might be a little stretched out with the forward controls on the bobber. I think you would still live the bike tho. You can always switch out handlebars and go from forward to mid controls on it. That will cost you some extra money but worth it. I'd go sit on one and see how it feels. I think you'll love it.
That bike is sex on wheels. It's a pussy magnet. That's everything anyone needs to know. If you don't like the seat.
