Jaya, you and ma'am at Simplify Your Space are saving my life! I just started in a new spot and it is OVERWHELMING ! You made me feel so good when you said to try and relax. I work and the cleaning first was so intense. It does not matter where we are in the world, the clearing is so hard for us is it not? Scrub scrub scrub to invite new freshness. Then I started putting things away in zones. I only learned about it last week. Another organizer mentioned it. But like you said builders and architects don't always have us ladies in mind when they are mass producing apartments. I am trying to see what works the best with the zoning. I need to buy a few organization items to maximize space vertically. I so appreciate these episodes. It really helps.😁
Jaya in some days we’re moving to a rental house. There is no modular kitchen only the slabs are there so if you can please give some tips & tricks for the raw kitchen and the kitchen is very small. Thanks in advance ❤️
Yes much needed
Trust me, it is much better than a poorly designed modular kitchen. Get some different sized storage racks and u can arrange as u wish. If I am completely honest, i would say that I wish my rental modular kitchen cabinets to vanish away 😀
You need to invest in some floor cabinets and if your owner permits, add a few wall cabinets as well. Open shelves with curtains can help to prevent daily dust and grease. Plan meticulously as you said it's a very small kitchen, remember planning is the key here.

Can you share how do you store Big grocery items like rice, wheat flour etc
As a family of 3, we do eat different varieties of grains and atta. Small dabbas are okay in this case. Otherwise, we do have two big stainless steel containers for storing bulk items like you mentioned here. It suffices our need.

Your video came at such a crucial moment! It is always such a saviour for me . . I can’t thank you enough for this. we are expecting to shift to our new home in the last week of September. But as the interior is not yet completed we’ll have to stay at a rental place for a couple of weeks. I was totally puzzled how to set up a kitchen for such a short period of stay. ….(specially at a rental place with lots of restrictions) and then again taking everything back to the new home quite at the end of the month …specially with puja at the door step … The very thought of the whole process was making me exhausted …
