Just bought a 2022 Ren. xmr 650 installed MRBP 5" exhaust and I'm impressed! Especially coming off an outlander 850xt. Totaled it 6 weeks ago and bought my Renegade 650 4 weeks ago and I think I like it a bit better. 3 rides so far since new. Mean machine
I know most folks are only interested in going fast in a straight line, but using the machine for its intended and engineered purpose, I believe you have the best machine on the market due to the suspension, chassis, and weight. If you just take your engine to a credible engine builder and send your suspension to a credible suspension tuner, this bike can KILL the 1000 lbs 1000cc bikes with the handling and agility! Buy a ECU and get it mapped, intake system/racing air filter, titanium exhaust system, high compression racing piston with proper race gas, High RPM Racing valve springs, Billet Racing Camshaft, titanium valves, copper or copper-beryllium valve seats with copper valve guides, Billet cam chain tensioner with a racing camshaft chain, get a buikt top-tier racing crankshaft, get your transmission gears tumbled and treated, put in a billet aluminum racing clutch system (clutch basket, pressure plate etc. ALL OF IT), and then to top it off get your cylinder heads ported and polished... The money spent on THAT is better spent than buy a 1000cc engine, because now you got an engine that us almost has that stock power of the 1000cc stocker engine, put into a much liter chassis that has suspension that is set up for you! You made the RIGHT choice on getting the lighter bike of the two - so many people who can build your engine like that, and literally will be the same price as that extra $10k you would spend on the 1000cc bike on MSRP, plus what you'd spend on taxes, fees, and state licensing/off-road stickers etc. In fact, many racers buy the lighter bike to build and race, cause that is what will get you through obstacles, crazy terrain, and through the apex of turns quicker! But I enjoy the building process, and making something made for me, my body/physiology, and my riding style - many people are not like me, and think this way of doing things is stupid though, so do what makes YOU HAPPY! 💪 But I do believe the lighter the bike, the better possibility to go fast around things that aren't I a straight line! You got the BEST in the manufacturers line-up in my mind! I know many engine builders in Murrieta, CA build ATVs and UTVs, on top of their primary focus of dirt bikes (which is what I primarily race and ride). SWEET BIKE, DUDE!!
Would you recommend me this canam renegade 570 for my 1st quad or a canam xmr 570? Im just curious! As long as you can put a storage accessory thing on the back then I might be able to compromise as well as a phone mount and a gps as another option!
