Having served in the US Air Force for 20 years, your first story here brings to light how MUCH the military needs to watch its people in classified jobs. I CAN say that when those that apply for, get vetted for, get trained and DO those types of intelligence jobs in the military ARE watched but in today's society of "online everything," there should be a way to watch someone close that has a job like that. Even their on line personal stuff. MOST people in the military are scared of doing stuff like that because of the lifetime ramifications. TRUST me this guy will find it HARD to find a job when he gets out of Ft. Leavenworth Prison. The fact that he committed espionage is going to be stapled to EVERY job application he ever fills out..... he won't be able to do so much as flip a hamburger without someone watching him now. But what COULD have been done to prevent this? I wonder. Now, I'm not one to point a finger at our Military, GOD knows I know what we do. I know the full weight of the responsibility of what I used to do let alone what other jobs in the military do. But we're ALL bound by a code and that is to protect this country. 19:15 Honestly wouldn’t even be surprised if the guards had a hand in this. I’ve heard plenty of stories of guard (with a criminal involved in hitting a child in some way) pulling some strings to deal with these type of criminals. There’s a story of a man who r worded a little girl and his cell mate just happened to be the girls father. Needless to say he didn’t make it through the night

This kind of stuff is the reason I only go to Discord servers owned by friends or on video game development servers that release test builds.

Just a heads up, everyone makes A1C in the airforce. You dont have to be good at your job or do anything special. The rank is entirely based on time in service.

I do feel bad for the mom's whose kids do stupid stuff like falcon. It's easy to say, "she's just like every mom who thinks their kids can do no wrong" well... Yes and no. She obviously loves her child and feels instinctively protective of them, but many mothers do know that their kids can do wrong and are just suffering a temporary state whilst coming to the realization that their child f'd up bad.

Hey! I'm a USAF vet, I wanted to say that A1C is a pretty basic rank that is handed out depending on time or if you have some college. For example after basic I was immediately A1C. The same goes for Senior Airman in terms of time. E1-Airman Basic (everybodies starter rank, nobody stays this rank for very long), E2- Airman (directly after E1 most people are here within a few months), E-3 Airman first Class (Some people stay here for about a year or so but even then its the starting rank for most people that enlist for 6 years or have college), E-4 Senior Airman (this is where a lot of people tend to stay for a while as its the rank where you have done your job for a while to know it but you aren't officially in charge of Airmen below you, theres a running joke that this is the "E-4 Mafia" definitely a favorite rank among at least Air Force personnel). After E-4 you start getting into the Sergeants where you are tasked with Airmen and taking care of them.

While I'm arguably just being "greedy", but I'm glad I've never offered or even given anyone drugs "meant for me". Also find the "using the internet to overcome social anxiety" relatable, but at some point I got more anxiety about the internet, while IRL was more comfortable. I suppose I never "met" someone online who sparked my imagination and usually "suspicious" of peoples intentions ("old" Guy In Real Life - thinking), so can't claim success or failure, but it's a bit dull...
