I joined the team of Lead Drivers in December of 2023, and Steve was the manager that helped me with everything in terms of operations and how we do things in the role as supervisors. Everything I’ve been taught up to this point is thanks to Steve. He gave his everything for the driving department and SCR, with him being focused on the satisfaction and enjoyment for players and supervisors.
Steve was never really afraid of talking either. I remember chilling with him in my DM’s where we talked about all sorts of different things, such as games we wanted to play. We also shared the same thoughts on how things should work in SCR to bring the best out of the game and its players. Those chats I used to have with him, both privately in DM’s and in different servers, are now history.
Hearing about his sudden passing felt like running straight into a brick wall and then the wall falls over you. I’m still processing that my friend isn’t with us anymore. I do really wish my amazing Manager a peaceful resting. A great soul was taken away from us way too early. 🕊️
