Introduce Dolutegravir (TLD) for the Treatment of HIV Infection

The National Department of Health is introducing a new drug, Dolutegravir (DTG), in combination with Tenofovir (TDF) and Lamivudine (3TC). The combination of TDF/3TC/DTG is known as TLD. TLD is a game-changer for people living with HIV (PLHIV) because VL is suppressed quickly. TLD has less side effects and it is recommended by the World Health Organization for both first-and second-line treatment of HIV. Dolutegravir replaces Efavirenz as the backbone in this antiretroviral. Efavirenz is safe and effective, especially for those on TB treatment, and for women planning pregnancies

But what if we miss a dose. Can we take a dose as soon as we remember the next day and the one which we take regularly at the same. Means can we two tables in the next day(in a single day), if we miss a dose. Please, please reply 🙏....

do not take two tabs.. just continue as usual if a dose is missed.

I am recently diagnosed and using tld from last two weeks..from they very first day onwards i can see that my scalp is itching too mcuh and my scalp is drying more and so much dandruff...is this problem with hiv or with TLD? Please explain...😢
