This is incredible and thank you for taking a chance and recording this. I have been telling people for 27 years that TOOL is the best band ever. I never get tired of listening to their greatness.......and I never will.
I had no problems recording the last 3 concert the problem is having battery backup lol! TOOL is my favorite band by FAR it’s not even close it’s hard to listen to any other band for me! I never get sick of them I just hope we get another album in a couple of years. I know with the 13 ur hiatus they have a lot of material written. Justin said in an interview not long after Fear came out that he really didn’t want to do much more as far as albums and that broke my heart! I hope he had a change of heart! The way DC, AJ, and JC are they write to slow for MJK that’s why he has Puscifer and APC. He spits out lyrics like it’s nothing it’s the other 3 that take so long which is great just not 13yrs great!

I was at this show. I remember when Adam kicked his wah pedal on and slid into the solo of Fear Inoculum (@10:50) the entire arena echoed. Mixing that with the visuals of the tunnel was absolutely beautiful to see in person.
I tried explaining this to my friends who asked how the show was in Grand Rapids.. it’s hard to put in words how that vortex looking thing was.. I’m glad I found this video to show it lol
When I saw them live in Eugene a few months back it really made me appreciate this song a lot more. I almost started to cry when the chorus came through with the “Exhale, Expel recast my tale” part.
While I am glad to relive some of this mind-altering concert I also want to thank Maynard from the bottom of my heart for not letting us use our phones until the last song.

My brain almost exploded during the Maynard scream in The Grudge and the giant frankenstein dude on the screens was screaming directly at me.....so....fucking....rad!
@@kruzmcanally9971 I took my first hit at 6:30pm. Opening band started at 7:30. Took my second hit at 8pm. Tool started right around 8:45ish and by that time I was good. By the time they played Pneuma (midway point of the show) I was completely gone lol it was truly epic

My buddies wife is best friends with Danny Carey's wife and she didn't want to come to the Grand Rapids show (she used to live in northern Michigan and visits family when they play GR) so she offered the tickets to my buddy. So I sat in Danny's personnel family seats, 10th row right in front of him! We decided to eat some fungus before the show, that was a GREAT decision!! When the confetti dropped I felt like I was in a magical land far away. What an experience!!! ❤️
I should be watching Tool live at the O2 London tonight, centre block, 3 rows from the stage. Instead I'm sat here £2700 poorer courtesy of an emergency vets bill hugging my poorly dog and watching RUclips. It's been over 3 years since I last had a drink - right now I've never wanted a bottle of bourbon more in my life. Really, no warning first? The usher walked right next to me 2 times and was so focused on the people in front of me on their phones, he never saw mine...I have a handless set-up so he had no clue I was even recording anything.
5 minutes in my buddy went to take a picture, before he got his phone up security was on him threatening to throw him out, lol. They were not playing around on the "No Camera, No Filming" policy.
I was basically by myself in the aisle...where were you and did you actually see me recording? The security guard came next to me twice and didn't notice, he was to focused on the people in the front row, he had not idea.
This was the same set we got in Orlando and we got to see them from the front side view in the first level. Luckily we got to see them in Miami from the same level but further back a couple sections and I think that was better though was glad to get both views. I have seen them 2 other times in 2 other tours but this time I think was the time I was just so blown away and it just upped the ante for my appreciation for the band. 😎😍🤩 Fan for life.
Man the Minnapolis show last night was the most incredible thing I have ever seen in my life. I am actually in disbelief that it was real it was that good. Really bummed that they cut Right in Two though. Also missed The patient:(
man, this setlist burns my ass! I have seen them four times since 2001. The last time I saw them was in Vegas in January of 2020. they didn't even play descending. they played a few songs from the new album but it was their basic copy and paste setlist they always play with pretty-much the same songs they had played live for years. they played a lot at this show I've never seen them play live, like opiate, hooker, and descending. I almost went to the Columbus show but I figured I would just be wasting money to see the exact same songs again so I didn't bother and of course they play songs I have never heard before.

And I had seen APC in Peoria and Puscifer in Chicago, but yesterday was my very first time seeing Tool!!! 😂😂🥲 😲✨They are like the Pink Floyd of our generation, Nothing compares to seeing them live. Maynard’s dancing is still veiled, and it’s the best. I love the symbology in the frequencies of the light show and the rhythm. I hope I can catch them on tour again. Next time I’m bringing my son✨

Was at the show the date before this in Buffalo New York I was disappointed at how bad the acoustics are and the sound system in general. Our arena was built in 1996 so it's considered old compared to Pittsburgh Shiney New one
I didnt go. I knew someone would record it. But they didnt have enough of my favorite songs in their set list to get me to buy a ticket. And I am all "concerted" out at this point. The crowds, the parking... just no. Enough

Was at the show the date before this in Buffalo New York I was disappointed at how bad the acoustics are and the sound system in general. Our arena was built in 1996 so it's considered old compared to Pittsburgh Shiney New one

I didnt go. I knew someone would record it. But they didnt have enough of my favorite songs in their set list to get me to buy a ticket. And I am all "concerted" out at this point. The crowds, the parking... just no. Enough
if they had put Rosetta Stoned, 46 & 2 and Jambi in the set list, I would have gone. But I dont care if I ever hear FI, descending or invincible again.

The 5 pointed star, often associated with Satan, is called a Pentagram but, this 5 pointed star has a stronger link to Paganism far more so than Satanism. it's always a weird dichotomy to have one of the greatest bands on the planet captured by the worst possible audio and video. Next time don't waste your time and just enjoy the damn concert in front of you.

@B let me break this down for you smart faces. dichotomy: a division or contrast between two things that are or are represented as being opposed or entirely different. One of the most boring shows I have been to.
Why's that...I thought visually and musically it was incredible...sure, they don't move around at all, but I thought it was great nonetheless.
