A Quick and Dirty way to Check the Port Status on a Network

Okay there's no beating around the bush. This topic is in Networking and Cybersecurity territory. There are plenty of applications that can do what I am about to do, nmap comes to mind. But what if you need an answer to the question. "What ports on my network are closed and what's open?" If you don't have any specialized software at your disposal, there still are options. This video is going over the broad strokes on answering that question. It's going the extra step of writing that data to text (.txt) and Coma Separated Values (.csv) files. Caution: This skirts the line of legality. Get permission from the owner of the network you plan on looking at.
