I get that same hair change anxiety. The older I get the more I've learned to let it go and have some fun trying new looks. I am a natural medium blonde and was platinum for years and just went dark red this fall. Plus, it will always grow back, and you are so beautiful you could shave your head and still be stunningly gorgeous!

For years I had my hair past my waist and let me tell you, when I decided to go all in and cut it to my shoulders, my stylist nearly collapsed from shock. But I can tell you I have never felt more relieved than I did the day I walked out of that salon with shorter hair.

I did this in June. Chopping my hair was scary, but my gosh the amount my headaches have reduced that I never even realised were due to having a full head of hair! Just like so much less tension headsches and my head feels lighter. And it’s so quick to wash my hair now! Or brush it! It’s not a massive task.

The shortest that I have ever had it was a little past my shoulders and that is how I know what happens. A recipe Ive been making my 3 year old a lot lately that I’m sure your girls would love too is “smoothies”. Greek yogurt in their favorite flavor, splash of milk, chia seeds and of course sprinkles. My girl drinks it through a straw and without knowing has a healthy meal that feels fun.

A friends family started a tradition with their kids. She drew a big tree with bare branches and the kids have colorful construction paper leaves they write something they are thankful for each day and then they get to put glue on with a glue stick and put on the tree. Also nice to make brownies or a side dish or two as a family you can drop off at a local church serving Thanksgiving dinner to people in the community
